Gratitude.
i was sitting idle with my ear noise and i begin to remember all the times that you saved me. my life has changed because of your kindness and dedication toward my craft. because i would have given up a long time ago. people like you are rare to exist.
I do remember, 3 years ago when i summoned the courage to show you my works. It feels like yesterday and i must say i am growing now, in strength and creativity and clarity. even though the pain of my past still lingers within somewhere. i would be turning 23 this year and finally seeing out my last year in college. it would be so much pressure on me, taking care of my family and having to carve my own path and looking for means to travel out for my masters and begin to push my art out there. But i believe that everything will align.
there were some wins i made this past few years, thanks to your support. i was able to host my first solo exhibition in Nigeria here and i made 3 large sized works beyond my abilities. i want to say a huge thank you (most of the pieces are in your wallet. The physicals are here with me and I hope one day i get to share them with you.)
