we appreciate Lorenzo and Beans taking the time to share their thoughts. We understand the concerns regarding scalability, reach, and measuring impact relative to cost.
one thing we may not have communicated clearly enough is that, beyond the reach of the Nogglesboard YouTube channel itself, we see value in creating media that helps characterize and document Lil Nouns as an artistic DAO that actively funds and empowers creators, communities, and real-world projects. During our research, we found very little long-form content that tells the story of Lil Nouns beyond a few shorts, clips, and references on Nounsworld. Part of our intention was to contribute to building that archive and public-facing narrative.
that said, the proposal was never intended to be only about videos... The relationships, products, collaborations, creative outputs, onboarding, documentation, and connections created throughout the process are, in our view, valuable outcomes for Lil Nouns as well. This kind of work is also part of our growth as artists and builders. Creating media, storytelling, and physical products are tangible ways for us to contribute to Lil Nouns, especially given the strength and quality of our team across filmmaking, editing, and sound production. We believe these are areas where we can consistently create meaningful value for the DAO.
we also felt that we did not run the strongest campaign possible for this proposal hehe. That's on us. We believe there is still room to adapt, optimize, and improve the scope, execution, deliverables, and communication. Some community members also mentioned experiencing issues while attempting to vote, so we'd like to better understand and address those points as well before moving forward.
our intention is to take the feedback seriously, refine the proposal further, and potentially resubmit it onchain in a stronger form that better aligns with the expectations of Lil Nouns voters.
