Hi Bower, thanks for the comment and for asking to clarify the alignment section. We understand this section of the proposal could be clearer, so we’ve just updated it.
To answer you directly: Definitely not. We don’t intend to stop making Nouns based content or change our Nouns branding after the funding stops. In fact, the intent of our proposal is the exact opposite.
We’re insanely passionate about Nouns and what it represents - these funds are to enable us to do this forever, but we wanted to acknowledge that it’s a conversation we should have (how the DAO can ensure they continue to get value when incentive-alignment, created by funding, comes to an end). The DAO has been funding nounish for quite a long time and for quite a large % of the treasury. Feels weird to see that if nounish became sustainable and didn't need more funding, the Nouns content would consequently just stop. Thanks!
