# PTIP-90: Lesser POOL Distribution on Base
Last proposal ([see PTIP-89](https://www.tally.xyz/gov/pooltogether/proposal/103429462605512475648502997597225737978967376448470547257874741795750914460716)) to distribute POOL to based depositors during the planned grand prize boosting period did not pass. After some discussions with those against the proposal, it seems the main point of contention was the amount of POOL to distribute.
If you agree with this sentiment, consider voting to pass this proposal instead! The amount of POOL proposed to be distributed here has been reduced by 75%, down to 50,000 POOL.
If this proposal passes, the exact same plan of action will take place as described in PTIP-89, but with a diminished amount of POOL tokens.
