Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. I m reaching out because you liquidated my position in the Compound protocol in the transaction
https://basescan.org/tx/0xa7dae289e1a58b24baf0fac95a56719625650d4cf3039194e71efa3af44523c6
.
I kindly ask you to return the 8 ETH that you received as a reward. Unfortunately, I was blocked on Coinbase after depositing my ETH and wrapping them into cbETH. The support team has been delaying my case for months with KYC questions, and now they are asking for documents that I physically cannot provide, effectively locking me out.
Because of this, I was unable to liquidate my position without incurring losses, and you did it on my behalf. I m hoping for your understanding and goodwill in this matter, as these were the only funds I earned over a year of work.
Let me share a bit about myself so you can better understand the difficult situation I m in. I m 26 years old, originally from Russia, and currently a political refugee. I was blackmailed by the police with fabricated drug dealing charges in an attempt to extort a bribe because they somehow discovered that I was mining ETH before its transition to PoS. This forced me to flee to another country.
Right now, I am the only one supporting my family, and cryptocurrency is my sole financial lifeline. Due to sanctions, I m unable to open a bank account, and I also can t get a job because I m living in the Philippines on a tourist visa. The remaining money I have is all that s left from my parents, who sold their apartment and fled with me, putting their trust in my ability to provide for us.
I sincerely hope you can understand my situation and consider returning the funds. Your help would mean the world to me and my family during these challenging times. Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Daniil
