I really think this revised proposal did a great job at addressing previous feedback with the commitment to return 25% of sticker revenue to the DAO upon successful Major qualification. This is the most direct an esports roster has been aligned with the DAO's financial interests and even allows for this proposal to be profitable. While there is inherent risk tied to the team's competitive performance, this uncertainty mirrors the speculative nature of the crypto market, adding an exciting dimension to the proposal. Competitive uncertainty is what makes esports engaging and hopefully the financial tie provides Nouners with an extra layer of excitement when watching the team.
I have strong confidence in Coach Eric "adreN" Hoag, whose tenure with Team Liquid led to significant achievements, including multiple international championships and substantial earnings for the roster. Just this week, we had a new member of the DAO join from the Counter-Strike community (reposted their VWR above). Due to having their own form of digital collectibles, I think that CS remains one of the most blockchain-friendly esports. Thankfully, it's also one of the biggest in the world, with one of the largest player bases and highest viewerships.
I believe that out of any of the major esports, this is the one to invest in. We already have substantial support in the community, and with continued focus, we can deeply intertwine Nouns and CS.
