hello, thanks benjamin! totally understand your POV on that. unfortunate we cant get your vote on this 🙂
we would like to clarify some portions here as it might appear unclear to some in the proposal, especially in regards to revenues, sustainability etc.
- major percentage of nouns physical products produced will be sold in-store like we have been doing now (and online store too) to cover the initial funding given to them
- each collaboration is a pilot project (poc/prototype) which opens up for further reprint/reproduction of said products with a profit sharing basis with the artist.
- WTF Art is one of said example, where we provided a fund for the artist/builder to work on the pilot project rather than full scale production.
- we aim to have a cycle of funds being reused over and over again through the products (fund pilot > produce more > generate funds > fund more pilot)
- community hub is not free, we only offer free rental once monthly for promoting the space, it is a revenue making business as it opens up for more utilisation in terms of rental space, services (engraving, 3d printing, workshop) and the coworking space itself.
- currently there are walking customers who uses the hub as their working space daily to work remotely
- we’re looking at self sufficiency through most of the items explained above, community hub, creative services, space rental, revenues from resource point & more.
we hope this would help others to reassess the proposal clearly, thanks again 🙏🏻

> This is a tough one because I truly enjoy what you've done so far!

> However my only and big nit pick is that it (seems like) there hasn't been (any?) ambition towards business development and/or generating revenue to make this undertaking move towards self sufficiency. I'd love to see you do this forever but not with the single point of failure being in-flows coming from Nouns DAO.
