The official Nouns X account is currently inactive, leaving a massive communication gap for the ecosystem. While community members frequently request amplification worthy content via the Nouns Discord `#post-request` channel, the current account handlers are unauthorized or unable to maintain consistent posting.
This proposal requests a **temporary, 3 month delegation** of the Nouns X account to a community working group using **X's native Delegate tool**. This will revitalize our social presence, showcase ecosystem impact, and establish zero risk standards for shared asset management.
## Scope
During this 3 month pilot, the delegated group will handle the following operations:
- **Pipeline Execution:** Monitor and publish submissions from the Discord `#post-request` channel.
- **Ecosystem Amplification:** Retweet high quality, relevant updates where Nouns is tagged, prioritizing builders and subDAOs.
- **Trend Capture & Nounification:** Actively monitor cultural moments, active X trends, and relevant memes, finding high leverage opportunities to "Nounify" them. This helps the account stay relevant, drives algorithmic visibility, and infuses Nouns' signature creative absurdity into broader internet culture.
- **Impact Reporting:** Actively surface and share "Where are they now?" updates on previously funded Nouns proposals, highlighting long term ROI and culture building.
- **Community Engagement:** Monitor notifications to respond to relevant questions, foster discussions, and manage basic sentiment.
## Team & Safety Framework
To ensure absolute security and protect the reputation of the Nouns brand, the delegation will operate under strict technical constraints:
- **The Working Group:**
* **Official Delegate Account:** @FattyButHappy
* **Core Contributors:** @Natalie and @Beans
- **Zero Credential Sharing:** Access will be granted strictly through **X’s native "Delegate" feature**. The account owner will invite FBH as a "Contributor".
- **Immediate Action Item:** Prior to onboarding the new working group, the primary account owner will conduct a security audit of the X account's access permissions. **All previously assigned, inactive, or outdated delegates will be revoked.** This ensures a clean slate, minimizes potential attack vectors, and establishes clear accountability moving forward.
- **No Master Key Exposure:** This ensures **no passwords or 2FA codes are ever shared**. The team will access the Nouns account entirely through their own individual X dashboards. Contributors cannot change passwords, edit sensitive account settings, or lock out the DAO.
- **Automatic Sunset:** This delegation will automatically expire exactly 3 months from the delegation date, at which point the account owner will remove the delegates.
## Metrics & Reporting
At the conclusion of the 3 month pilot, the working group will deliver a transparent performance report to the community covering:
1. **Activity:** Total volume of pipeline posts processed from Discord and unique proposals highlighted.
2. **Growth:** MoM trend lines for account impressions and profile visits.
3. **Engagement:** Average engagement rate per post and ecosystem link clicks, targeting an algorithmic recovery of the account.

The contributors are undertaking this 3 month pilot on a voluntary basis to revitalize the ecosystem's reach and prove the safety framework.
