Portraits I by jiwa is a first edition collection of 64 code & handmade portraits. Every portrait is animated, responsive, and acts as a complete generative algorithm. Every refresh creates a new artwork. The owner can lock the portrait, setting a certain output in perpetuity. Owners can anonymize (pixelate) their portrait and control the usage of their portrait photo. Jiwa's own facial data is used as a signature in the work.
Portraits are made with javascript + drawings made in custom software, fully on chain.
Each portrait in Portraits I will be given an audition for the upcoming performance, The Troupe.
