Since we seem to be the only people who currently care about these slots, would you consider cooperation? Instead of constantly bidding the price up, we could take turns occupying the #1 and #2 slots, swapping slot delegates, say, once a week, along with an Eden transfer from the person with a smaller burn. You seem to see a lot more opportunities than me, so you may not even be giving up much when you take slot #2, but this way your costs would be roughly halved (and even smaller later once we're no longer pushing the price up).
