“Preserve History and MyStory on Internet for 100+ Years : The Principle “ By Tam Yi Pui ^_^ , 13/3/2026 When I’m researching UK and Hong Kong histories, especially UK history, I have noticed that electronic format is an alternative for paper, drawing, sculpture, memorial, tombstone. It takes up less space and requires less maintenance. Since modern Hong Kong has existed for almost 100 years, and for UK could be 1100 years, the tools of the new industrial revolution we have in 21st Century is useful to preserve public and personal history :-D To preserve text, easiest way will be recording it by hex (can be converted to UTF8 so human can read it) and send a transaction on Blockchain such as Ethereum. Domain (human readable) and hash is helpful for indexing. Hopefully some clever mates will develop explorers that can search hex memo, so it will be easier for others to search. To preserve any other formats: photos, videos, large documents etc. decentralize storage like IPFS and Arweave could be useful. Easiest way is uploading them to Opensea as NFTs with index and names.
