Hey Mike. There may be a small assumption here that’s worth clarifying.
Season of Meaning isn’t framed around Nouns as the primary object of critique. The focus is on crypto native art and its surrounding cultures more broadly (artists, practices, aesthetics, histories, systems) with Nouns acting as a patron of the critical infrastructure rather than the centre of attention.
That doesn’t mean Nouns is off limits. The aim is serious, independent criticism of the space, not paid praise. Where the writing lands is ultimately up to the critics.
