An SOS Message: can you help a decentralization contributor who is suffering in the manipulation of the centralized system?
Please accept my sincere apology for disturbing you here. I come from an Asian developing country. I am a distributed computing project contributor for more than 5 years. I am a desperate son of an innocent and hopeless father, under persecution from the local authority.
Not a long time ago, a disaster happened to my family. My father, a principled and innocent man of integrity, is convicted for a crime that he did not commit and is punished severely for his fight against injustice. It is a deliberate miscarriage of justice and deliberate persecution by the local authority.
During the "investigation", the local investigators tortured my father for months, using illegal measures such as complete isolation, mind control methods (including various abuses, fabricated news about family members being tortured, threats to harm the family), enforcing him to get sick by worsening the living environment, and imposing sleep deprivation. In the court, the validity and authenticity of the fabricated evidence are not considered and the illegal investigation process is completely ignored. The court is just a formality, not about justice.
As my father is determined to never surrender, the local authority decides to "show no mercy" and destroy my father completely. The penalty given to my father is severe. They set up a very high forfeit to make my family financially vulnerable to survive, leaving alone to protect ourselves and afford helpful lawyers. Besides financial punishment, I am prepared for not seeing my father for a decade, due to the long sentence.
Bad people drive out good. My father and my family are the victims of the intransparent and corrupted centralized system in the city we live in. We are not alone. There are similar tragedies and broken families buried, away from the public. Only some of them can be righted via endless hard efforts of tears and pains.
In my country, few understand, few understand what happens to my father and my family, as most of them only believe in the centralized authority. On the other hand, most public servants who know the truth in the local centralized system are silent and indifferent. Those who know the truth are simply watching. We have almost no local support. I am so desperate and hopeless. I am writing to kindly ask for help from you and the community. Please help my father, an innocent man who simply insists on being upright and honest.
I have been working hard and saving up. And I am asking members in the decentralized community for help as you can see. If you send any fund to help me, I will treat the fund as a loan. I will pay back it to you one day no matter how. I will make the fund received in each wallet public for transparency.
About Me:
I, personally, have been a member of the decentralized community since 2012. I have been contributing to BOINC, the largest non-profit distributed computing scientific project for human well-being with my little PC. There is no incentive from this project. I could do speculative altcoin mining to make some profit, but I decided not to. Doing it is fully out of love and pride as an idealist in the decentralized world. I have been volunteering for 8 years.
I get into blockchain in 2014. I also contributed to Bitcoin full-node at that time with the small VPS purchased with my saving. I know it brings me no benefit. But I know it brings robustness to the bitcoin, which I beleive will eventually change the world, though I have no saving to buy Bitcoin as a poor student.
My individual contribution may not be significant. However, in my short life, I can do something that at least some people will benefit from it. I believe decentralization adoption will bring real change one day. I hope there will be less victims suffering from the intransparency and manipulation of the faulty centralized system. No more people separated from their beloved father/mother due to injustice.
I hope you can read my story on my website: wehopeless.com.
I have included some evidence there. No matter whether you will help, I really appreciate your time. Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely,
A lonely and desperate son of an innocent father
