# PTIP-89: POOL Distribution on Base
During a period of grand prize boosting on any given network (until the boost's completion), users of that network may see prize sizes increasing, but will have lesser chances to win prizes. Winning prizes are the bread and butter of PoolTogether, and so during this period we propose distributing POOL to users on Base using our existing rewards infrastructure. We've held a [snapshot vote](https://snapshot.org/#/pooltogether.eth/proposal/0x2c84de6b99fc05a27fa1472807475d54032d46c91473d5a7a520286cacc110f1) to determine what amount of POOL everyone seemed most comfortable with, reaching a majority consensus of 200k.
### The Plan
POOL rewards would be designated to each yield-generating prize vault on Base relative to their prize pool contributions (PPCs). This means that whichever prize vault contributes the most to growing the prizes, gets the most rewards!
The duration of these rewards would correspond to the grand prize boosting period. Pending the successful passing of PTBR-20, this would currently correspond to 2 months.
### Custody Details
This proposal directs the POOL tokens to a multisig controlled by Generation Software. These tokens would have to be bridged to Base, where they can then be split between our many prize vaults for distribution.
