# DH NOUNS CONNECTING WITH THE WORLD
DHNouns aims to be the first world-class sports team funded by Nouns, promoting values of freedom and decentralization. DHNouns has the vision to be self-sustainable in the future with this great push that Nouns will give us, connecting hundreds of thousands of athletes with Nouns and Web3. We have a solid work team with a track record and global recognition.
We have the logistical capacity and support from governmental entities to carry out these events, which will bring prosperity to the cities where they will be executed. Undoubtedly, it will set a precedent for a project that will change the skating market.
Additionally, we have scalable digital infrastructure to introduce thousands of people to Web3, using our DAO protocol. This will also allow us to generate connections with the Web3 community to make the project sustainable in the long term, raising funds through the daily auction of content created by the community and the events we plan to execute.
This project can only be carried out if the Nouns community provides us with their support since it involves securing legal contracts and government permits. We believe this could be a great opportunity for Nouns and the DHNOUNS community to work together on something that has never been done in Nouns, being a truly revolutionary idea.
## What is Downhill?
Downhill skateboarding and roller skating are extreme sports disciplines that develop on slopes, taking advantage of gravity to descend roads and reach high speeds.
Downhill Skateboarding: This is an extreme form of skateboarding that involves descending hills at high speed. Practitioners use long boards specially designed to improve stability and control. The value of this sport lies in the technical skill it requires, the adrenaline it generates, and the united community it promotes. This sport is becoming increasingly popular due to its excitement and the challenge it presents.
Downhill Roller: Similar to downhill skateboarding, downhill rollerblading is also practiced on steep slopes. Skaters use specialized equipment to protect themselves at high speeds, such as helmets and pads. This discipline stands out for its focus on control and maneuverability through fast turns. The value of downhill rollerblading comes from the combination of technical skill and physical conditioning.
Both disciplines are gaining recognition as emerging sports worldwide, due to the competitions that are organized and a growing presence on social media and a community that inspires new athletes to get involved. They also foster personal improvement, hard work, dedication, and the importance of safety when participating in extreme sports on public roads. These sports also offer a sense of community and camaraderie among practitioners, strengthening their social bond. High speeds can be reached, and since it is a high-accident sport, we seek to generate awareness and respect for the sport and the roads where it is practiced and care for the mountains.

## DH NOUNS (DownHill NOUNS)
DH NOUNS is an initiative that connects the NOUNS community with the world of downhill longboarding and rollerblading. Through events such as training, education, meetings, competitions, and a team of high-level athletes, the DHNouns will carry the identity of NOUNS to the mountains, the tracks, and thousands of people worldwide, both online and in real life, as our universal language is skating and Nouns.
We will connect hundreds of thousands of people with NOUNS, attracting new builders and those interested in learning about blockchain and DAO to evolve together and do things never done before in downhill. We connect with thousands of people in web2, Instagram, and on-chain at thatsgnar.ly/dhnouns.
Our vision is to join forces and build something truly giant and unprecedented, being the first community-driven project at a global level focused on an emerging sport based on the values of NOUNS: transparency, collaboration, participation, decentralization, and creative freedom in the development of this collective idea called DH NOUNS that is very close to a revolution.
The trajectory of DH NOUNS, founded in 2023 on the Polygon network, is linked to thatsgnar.ly, where we began to incorporate people into the community and cryptocurrencies, financing and educating athletes in the use of blockchain technology and decentralized finance protocols. In 2024, we launched our daily auction protocol based on 1/1 non-fungible tokens, building our treasury on the OP network but open to all Ethereum networks. We are currently auctioning DHNOUN 56, where the treasury is deposited into the DAO protocol contract, distributing it to funding requests from the community that are put to a vote. We have conducted events in Colombia and other Latin American countries, and we seek to expand the idea of DH NOUNS

## How We Will Do It
Creation of the First Downhill Team Sponsored by NOUNS
Thanks to the initial support from Nouns Amigos and funding from Gnars, we have formed the first downhill team backed by NOUNS. This group of elite downhill skateboarding and downhill roller inline athletes will represent the community at the most important professional competitions of the year. Their presence on the podiums and at key events will mark a milestone in the history of downhill sports globally, merging community and sports with the NOUNS web3 ecosystem, taking inspiration from the daily auction model to sustain ourselves and manage digital assets while executing community projects and ideas with the vision of growing and increasing our global impact. DHNOUNS could be what skaters have always dreamed of, and we are building it brick by brick.
Nouns Amigos and Gnars have been the first bridge to connect us and also the initial push to make this project possible, funding our community treasury and allowing DH NOUNS to take its first steps, fostering community growth by promoting good resource management and working publicly while sharing our impact and experiences on social media and in real life with local communities.
With funding from NOUNS, the DHNouns community seeks the impetus to become self-sufficient by executing this project in three areas that will provide us with success and autonomy to be sustainable, independent, and highly regarded within the sports community.
Presence at the main competitive downhill events scheduled for 2025, bringing community representatives to compete and generate content and connections with attendees, inviting and incorporating more people into DHNouns using social media to document and showcase experiences lived during these events.
Creation of a cup called DH Nouns, which will initially take place in Colombia with three dates, positioning us in Latin America as a reference, establishing the project in the competitive realm and the organization of quality events.
Strategic alliance to produce a world-class race in partnership with WDSC, the World Skateboarding Championship, which will bring athletes from around the world to Bogotá, Colombia, elevating the name of DHNouns to the highest levels of professional sports. This event will link NOUNS as a massive platform for the dissemination and distribution of NOUNS products, attracting new skaters who see the potential of the sport and creating this annual event that we plan to execute year after year, making it bigger each time.

## Production of the NOUNS Cup in Colombia:
We will organize three races in Colombia with the goal of connecting thousands of people with the DH NOUNS community, setting a precedent in the history of the sport. Each race will award a bronze medal indicating the place occupied, a collectible Bigshot toy, and cash prizes. At the end of the season, the top 3 competitors of the cup will be rewarded with the registration fee for DHNOUNS GP. We will focus on the longboard and roller modalities, opening these two main categories.
Additionally, we will already be producing DHNOUNS GP in partnership with WSDC, one of the most important organizations in downhill worldwide, focusing on longboarding. They will include the roller inline category in three races of the annual calendar, with DHNOUNS being the community that opens the door for this skating modality to have its place in the professional arena outside of the world championship, which occurs every four years.
Thanks to this collaboration, for the first time in the history of WSDC, we will host this event in Latin America, and we will travel to the Isle of Man, Turkey, and El Salvador, opening new opportunities for athletes worldwide and consolidating DH NOUNS as a reference in the evolution and unity of downhill skating globally. We will also use our community treasury to fund meetings and small events through our DAO protocol, continually expanding and incorporating more people into the community.

## This investment is based on the production and execution of an international race called DHNOUNS GP BOGOTÁ, which will be streamed live on the internet. During the event at the national park, there will be a fair-like space with a Nouns theme where people can watch the competition live, transmitted by drones and fixed cameras, connecting thousands of attendees in an environment with 100% Nouns aesthetics in furniture and ventures that will be part of the exhibition with their projects and businesses aimed at Nouns creators from around the world.

The total investment includes payment to WSDC, production and request for permits from local authorities, rental of the national park, police logistics, ambulances, first aid, prize pool for the race, insurance policies, track protection, signage, emergency plan, traffic mobility plan, production of 25 puff furniture in the shape of Nouns and giant inflatable Nouns, rental of public toilets, 3 LED screens, sound system, tents, logistics team on the track and broadcasting room. Nouns will be the main sponsor and founder of the event, and in its first edition, we aim to generate a massive event never before seen in Nouns. We estimate an 80% return on investment based on the production costs of the event, which will be collected through competitor registration fees, local sponsor sponsorships, and ventures that will be part of the Nouns fair. The funds raised will be reinvested in 2026 to execute what would be the second version of DHNOUNS GP, estimating cost reduction as the produced furniture will be reusable in future editions of DHNOUNS GP and the DHNOUNS Cup.
