Many protocols sneak in malicious functions like `blacklist`, `freeze` or `governedTransfer` (e.g: Tether, Circle, Sky) or use the upgradable proxy pattern, making most stables, RWAs and many other projects custodial, non-trustless and prone to censorship. Normies stay unaware while corps exploit users, turning ETH into a minefield. Realistically, no one’s suing billion-dollar entities after getting rugged. Could the foundation kindly consider enforcing, at the protocol level, that such balance-altering actions require explicit owner signatures globally, regardless of the implementation?
