I love how dense and bright the work is. It’s a different type of palette than I’m used to with Harvey’s work. I feel like he stepped out of his comfort zone a bit, which is not unusual for someone like Harvey. His work is so recognizably Harvey, which is really difficult to say in a code-based medium. You have to really establish a practice and a discipline for that level of understanding. The overlays of shapes and colors bleed into one another almost like a carnival. It’s busy in the best ways. The compositions feel like they got mashed together, almost like he let the code run free.
