This wallet belongs to the Berachain Foundation. We were contacted by the owners of 0xF8Bec8cB704b8BD427FD209A2058b396C4BC543e and 0xD875De13Dc789B070a9F2a4549fbBb94cCdA4112 after our chain was halted by the Berachain validator set.
They have indicated that they are white hats whose bot accidentally frontran the Balancer V2 exploit and recovered user funds. We have been told by the group that originally connected us to team behind the aforementioned wallets that this is in fact the case. They have been operating MEV bots on Berachain since May, and display a different pattern onchain when compared to the hackers.
We plan to coordinate with the validator set to restart the chain in the near future, while restricting the ability of these addresses (and two other potentially malicious ones) to transfer ERC20s such that they may only transfer funds back to this address, at which point the Foundation will work with LPs to ensure that their funds are returned asap.
