# Summary
The Lil Nouns Empowerment initiative for Creative and visual Artist is designed to support five newly graduated and emerging artists by providing professional starter kits, Web3 mentorship and opportunities and practical pathways toward income generation.
Many talented graduates complete their artistic training with the skills and ambition necessary to succeed but lack the financial resources required to begin professional practice. As a result, promising careers are often delayed or abandoned entirely.
This program addresses that challenge by equipping selected apprentices with discipline specific tools while encouraging the production of original artworks inspired by Lil Nouns.
By investing in these artists at a critical stage of their development, Lil Nouns will help transform artistic potential into sustainable economic opportunity while fostering creativity, innovation, and community engagement.

# Selection Process
To ensure fairness, transparency, and community participation, beneficiaries will be selected through an open application process.
### Phase 1: Open Call for Artists
Applications will be opened to emerging and recently graduated artists across the following categories:
Portrait Artist
Acrylic Artist
Mixed Media Artist
Mural Artist
**Applicants will be required to submit:**
> A brief artist profile
> Portfolio samples or photographs of previous work
> Social media links
> A short statement explaining how the starter kit would impact their creative journey
### Phase 2: Community Review
All eligible submissions will be presented to the Lil Nouns community for review.
Community members will evaluate applicants based on:
> Artistic quality
> Creativity
> Originality
> Potential for growth
> Alignment with the program's objectives
**Through community voting and feedback, the top eight (8) artists will be selected as finalists.**
### Phase 3: Creative Challenge
The eight finalists will receive a creative brief and will each produce an original Lil Nouns-inspired artwork within their respective disciplines.
This stage allows both the project team and the community to observe:

> Creative interpretation
> Commitment to the program
> Ability to execute a themed project
### Phase 4: Documentation and Storytelling
A dedicated photo and video documentation process will follow each finalist's creative journey.
Each artist will be professionally documented while:

> Sharing their personal story and aspirations
This content will be shared with the DAO Community to showcase the impact of the initiative.

Houseofdrey has been a prominent member 0f Nouns DAO, foodnouns , lilnouns, Founding member of Internationouns, Nouns DAO Afric. Member of flows and Vrbs since the year 2022 - till date. he is a holder of foodnouns , Nouns DAO africa and Gnars.
