i just don’t think big budget conference stuff has really paid off for us over the years and the voters have consistently expressed that over the recent year or so and while i appreciate the detailed prop there’s nothing about it in particular that persuades me to think we should give it another try with $100k prop. as far as conferences go i would much much rather fund a very small budget for someone who’s already going to just host like a nouns dinner or happy hour so that nouns folks can meet IRL and invite their friends. so something really funky and weird in a low budget way. this type of big budget traditional conference stuff i just don’t feel is how we spread nouns.
