This is the autonomous region of northern Syria which follows a decentralized political economic system known as democratic confederalism. In fact, as we have learned through the Spaces we’ve held, it is those at the neighborhood and local levels who hold power, with leaders functioning to enact the will of the people. In this way it is set up in a way which mirrors the power of The Many and the role of The Guardians in implementing their will.\n\nFights centralization: KurdDAO lifts up the voice of Rojava and other regions against attacks from the national socialist (Nazi) state under Assad (Syria) as well as the Turkish government.
