I find Krel's comment compelling here:
>the 160k funding ask is somewhat high in the current financial state of nouns. My suggestion would be to keep the overall goal — "to expand the current meaning of the collection from PFP to digital fine art" — but decouple the website from the book, and begin with the website/video as the first deliverable.
I'd hope you can show the value in what you're building here in that first digital stage, and bostler support for a book that follows. I'm guessing (may be wrong) that it will also allow for a flexible and iterative way to build this work, which means we you do finally get to the book the product will be stronger than it may be otherwise.
To reiterate: I think the goals you're chasing here are really important and am supportive of this mission. The exact how remains a curiosity for me.

> I think this is a project the dao should do and that will serve Nouns well. A lot of us came to love Nouns because the pixels are just so insanely good, and a project that celebrates onchain pixels as art in its own right is something ive been waiting for. I feel like theres a lot of parallels to draw to Cryptopunks with the way Facu wants to present Nouns in this project, and im excited about that.
