To begin with, thanks to your feedback, we created and published a short video to help make this proposal more accessible and easier to understand. We would really appreciate it if you could take a look.
Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for taking the time to carefully review our proposal.
You are right that important background and commitments should be included directly in the main proposal. We struggled with balancing completeness and length, which led us to share some context in the comments. If this proposal does not pass, we plan to submit a Version 3 that clearly incorporates these details into the proposal itself. That said, we remain committed to seeing Version 2 through, out of respect for those who have already supported it.
Regarding funding, we agree that clarity is essential. As shared previously, if Arts Council funding is approved, any remaining funds after deducting necessary expenses from the combined funding will be returned to Nouns DAO. This will be clearly stated in Version 3.
We also agree that relying on comments alone is not ideal, as many Nouns clients do not surface them well. Updating the current proposal would require canceling and resubmitting it, so we chose to proceed with Version 2 through the end in order to honor existing votes.
Thank you again for helping us strengthen this proposal.

> The documents and explanations you shared would have significantly strengthened the resubmitted proposal if they had been included directly in the proposal text. Since this was a second version, adding that concrete evidence instead of broad statements (for example around the survey and long-term impact) would have helped evaluate it more clearly.
>
> Regarding the Arts Council grant and others — it is still unclear what happens if that or other funding is approved. Is the DAO ask getting refunded partially after expenses? is it used to reinvest in project so nouns does not foot the bills always but gets included with art given early support? Without explicit conditional language written into the proposal, it remains ambiguous and reads more as a positive possibility than a defined commitment.
>
> Finnaly and most important, responses in comments are not visible to everyone. Many nouns clients, including nouns.wtf, do not prominently display comments. For transparency and fairness, key information and commitments should live in the main proposal itself.

> >
> > In the past, we have consistently heard many children say that they would be happy if their artwork were displayed around the world.
> > Based on these voices, we decided to conduct a renewed survey for this proposal.
> >
> > In preparing this response, we contacted Ms. Tomo Kurita, a teacher at Nagoya Municipal Tōchi Junior High School, and asked for her perspective on how children responded when this project was previously implemented in her class. We received her written comments, which are shared below.

I would rather see the majority of funds clearly tied to direct hospital and elementary school programs defined with numbers (how many workshops, how many children, what outcomes). I would even support a higher cost if that impact was clearly structured. If outside funding like the Art Council may reduce the cost, terms should be written into the proposal to not open reinterpretation later also not left in comments as many nouns clients dont even show them please.
