Prop 450 is currently in the final stretch of a lease negotiation. We negotiated an LOI from December 5th 24 to Feb 27th 25, and received a lease and FF&E purchase agreement on March 18th. We are now making sure certain details are in place to ensure that this Nounish coffee shop has a long pathway forward.
One of the reasons that we have taken our time is because we're extremely protective of the Nouns brand and want to provide an experience that honors this community. I would personally be extremely unhappy to create something that was temporary, signing an extractive lease and creating a shop that was unsustainable.
All that said, I'm sorry for the lack of communication — brick and mortar is such a challenging process (as 87bones knows!) and we have always felt like we are juuuuuust a short time away from sharing good news with this group.
Will report back at the end of this negotiation.
