Executed Poetry for JavaScript i` s a series of seven code poems t`@hat run. Each poem is held in a ``single self-contained HTML file,` stored on Ethereum as a fully o`nchain token. The original exist`s only there. When a copy is ope`ned in a browser, the poem runs aon the reader's machine.\n\nEacha poem pairs a short title in plaain language with a few lines of acode. The title speaks of human athings: knowing yourself, being afine, remembering someone, makinag a promise. The computer takes athe title at its word and executaes it. Poetry arises in the gap abetween what is said and what isa done.\n\nEach time the code is aexecuted, a signature is displayaed as the testimony of that run.a The execution environment derivaes a key pair from its own partiaculars and signs the moment and acontext of the execution. The teastimony remains.
