# Onchain Ceramic Study #1
Hello, my name is Qab. I am a transdisciplinary artist from Brazil working across illustration, ceramics, painting, and audiovisual, building a journey in web3 since 2021.
I propose creating a finished ceramic sculpture as part of an ongoing series I began in 2023 on Zora, where I explored sculptural forms using non-drying clay. The collection reached over 1,000 mints and generated approximately 0.35 ETH, making it my best-selling collection to date.

This grant focuses on producing one finalized painted ceramic piece, evolving that earlier study into a complete finished physical work. The sculpture will be 3D scanned and minted as a free open edition NFT on the “In Process” platform, allowing anyone to collect it at no cost. Collectors will be included in a randomized selection and to participate, they must comment their Farcaster username on the NFT.
After 48 hours, a snapshot will be taken of all eligible collectors who commented, and one participant will be selected to receive the physical sculpture at no cost to the recipient. The selected collector will be contacted via Farcaster and must provide shipping details to receive the piece. If the information is not provided within a reasonable timeframe, a new selection will be made.

The process will be documented from sculpting to scanning and distribution. If successful, this project will continue as a series of future editions.
