Hey Hunter, Thanks for your application. Please do apply over at Angellist as we're managing our hiring pipeline there. Best Jack https://angel.co/colony/jobs/228547-communications-community-manager
Communications ManagerWe are looking for a communications unicorn: that rare combination of excellent public communicator, community manager, and knowledgeable Ethereum/decentralization enthusiast. You will play a major role in communicating Colony’s value proposition. You will build upon and engage our already substantial community, and identify relevant new communities to educate. The role includes: • Writing articles, blog posts, and engaging the community via Slack, Twitter, email, and Reddit • Engaging with relevant communities to build awareness of Colony; discover their needs, and engage with relevant thought-leaders • Interviewing thought leaders in target communities, being interviewed in press and podcasts, presenting at meetups, evangelizing for Colony and the concepts and trends upon which it is predicated • Engaging with the developer community We only hire people who are able to do a job better than we could do it ourselves, so the successful candidate will be overflowing with communication strategies to drive engagement with Colony. You will be fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. We don’t mind where you live, so long as your hours overlap to a reasonable extent with the rest of our team of eleven. We’re all in Europe and the Americas. We’re open to considering full or part-time. Remuneration is ideally in ETH, and/or Colony Tokens (CLNY), though legacy currencies are also supported.
Colonyhello+jobs@colony.ioColony wants to create a world where everyone loves Mondays. Where Sunday night brings excitement at the possibilities of the week ahead, not a creeping dread of the five day slog to the next weekend. For that to happen, we need to change the way the world works. That’s what we’re doing. We’re building tech that enables people to do the work they care about, not just what they’re told to do. To do this, we’re making work more open: • Open internally: enabling underutilized talent within your organization to shine. • Open externally: tapping into a global pool of talent as though they are teammates, not external contractors. • Open globally: Thousands of people, all over the world, building, managing, and sharing in the rewards of organizations built together online, without trusting (or even knowing) one another. We’re reimagining how work is structured, how people are recognized and rewarded. You in?
