I frequently (and eloquently) battle and outburst on Twitter. But let's wake up: isn't it a comfort zone, a vicious circle, a bubble? Yes, breaking the barriers of our "I want", we can take off the halter and perceive what is the true purpose of Twitter. Twitter isn't here at our favor. Twitter isn't a place of empowerment, nor a place where you get voice and can outburst. Twitter is a place to capture your weak moments; frames from a whole video where the video is ignored and, a single frame is cherrypicked and will be used to paint a (bad) picture of you; and profit off our battles and vulnerable moments. In the war of: -"I'm a non-binary trans and thankfully not a fancy trans women" vs. "I'm a trans women and I read this person as a cis men" - "Latin ppl are White and Indigenous aren't so unprivileged as us" vs. "We wish Black people had the same respect for the Indigenous struggles so as we have for the Black's own" - "You can say nothing because you're White" vs. "Blk ppl are dancing funk while we go to the Space" - "Using an dread is cultural appropriation" vs. "Believing to be an women (trans) is appropriation" This is just an short representation of what I face on Twitter Brasil; no one wins, no one loses; everyone lost (Dilma Rouseffs noble thought could be templated here); and battles in an vicious war between trans people (includes me), people of color and other non-"lightpower"; people that shall be united, fighting one another and reviving an alt-left (https://tamaravelasquez.medium.com/yes-the-alt-left-exists-and-no-its-not-what-you-think-it-is-cd26675eee5d) version of the fascism: "Us and Them". I recently got me trapped (previously it was me trapping alt-left members infiltrated inside the Indigenous cause in June 2020), in an fight between non-binaries and trans women (non-binaries are trans, too; or at least should be on the same side) where me and other trans women where called "transphobes" by an group of anime-avatarized accounts claiming to be non-binaries/supporters (but there were true non-binaries between them (such as Aria Music and the Bryanna streammer), joining the misogynistic agenda of attacking trans women and helping to increase the alarming genocide we and Indigenous ppl are facing on Brasil). For me, this was the last gasp of Twitter. That's why this vicious insanity on Twitter isn't for yourself to win: its for the pro-centralization, pro traditional businesses Twitter Team and no one more, not yourself.
