That motivation helped prepare me for my journey creating the painting. I tried to imagine myself out there in Namib. In reality? I sprinkled real Sahara desert over the acrylic oil. I felt like a kid in a candy store creating. Creating this piece was definitely an outer-body experience creating the Desert's Ridge with Mr. Aprin.
