If I had known it would turn out like this, I wouldn't have gotten involved in helping these guys. It turns out they weren't true to their word and the promised reward was just a honeypot to gather as much information as possible. The exploiter had bad opsec and didn't even keep the 10% from the original deal. I'm not sure who I contacted before; it could have been two people. The exploiter is most likely a young solidity developer. Another possibility is that this could have been a publicity stunt as an insider didn't want the recovery to be done. In the end, there are two possibilities: either the attacker had bad opsec and their behavior was analyzed and used against them, possibly through threats in emails or other means, or this was a publicity stunt to increase credibility and trust.
Hello again, Mr. Exploiter. its me again, I hope you're still willing to return nice portion of the funds. I'm willing to act as a middleman to ensure the safe return of the funds. Please note that you won't need to send me anything, we can communicate through secure channels. After analyzing some of what you did, I think it's likely that you'll make a noob mistake. So, I urge you to return 160 million back to the treasury and keep the rest. Keep in mind that what you keep might grow to 200 million if Ethereum peaks again. However, if you decide to keep the funds, you won't be able to launder most of it. I'm pretty sure LE has analyzed the typicality of what you did. Here are my contacts, and I'm open to other secure channels: XMPP: LutherMonki@exploit.in Telegram: @lutherl33t

Hello there Turns out there is good in you please send the funds to the treasury of Euler not the deployer and when do please sign and message to my address. Please return 165Million and keep the rest
I know that you have been planning this attack for weeks. However, I also know that tornado cash and railgun won't do much to protect you in the long run. Also MultiChain anaylsis tool is really good That is why I am here to facilitate a deal between you and Euler Finance for the return of the stolen funds. if you are interested. Here is my TG: @Lutherl33t
Listen up, Tornado cash may have been useful before, but now it's only good for breaking down the connection between wallets. Don't fool yourself into thinking it can still hide your tracks, because it won't.
Dear Euler Finance hacker, I am NRAF, a hacker just like you. I understand you have exploited the smart contract and stolen a large sum of money. I strongly recommend that you return most of the funds you stole. Even if you keep 40 million of it, it is still better than looking over your shoulders for the rest of your life. I am aware that 200 million is a lot of money, but if you keep 20-40 million and Ethereum peaks again, you'll have 200 million. I am giving you 48 hours to make your decision. Otherwise, I will start dust attacking your address and every Ethereum and Bitcoin address you laundered it to. And that's just the beginning. I won't rest until you return the money. If you don't return the money, I will need my 60 Ethereum that you stole. The clock is ticking, and I suggest you make the right decision before it's too late. TG: @Lutherl33t

Hey man. I know the Euler team really fucked up the response here, but please don't hold their incompetency against us. Send back most of the funds so they will feel compelled to drain their VC funded treasury to make us whole, and you'd really only be stealing from those fatcats. I lost a lot here and good friends did too. You can be remembered as a true legend and *still* ride off into the sunset with $20M. Vouch for whoever wrote this

200 million is too big of a hole to recover but I’m sure if you return most of the funds 70-80% they’ll be able to recover the rest on their own. I’m not saying not to return it all but it would be great if you did that.
So please do make that deal and return the 200million to them. You could still keep a certain amount I guess. Also I’m really not trolling when I said I lost 60 eth from ur attack
I think deep down there is good in you as you returned 100 eth to that guy you still can make a deal with euler and return most of the funds why keeping a good amount There are 2 possible outcomes either you are a noob and in the end you’ll be caught. Or you are not a noob and could launder most of them but here is the thing most of it will get frozen I guess returning most of the funds to the exploited finance is the best option unless you are from the dprk And trust me if you’re not from them it won’t be long before you are caught.
Hey Man I know that you might be overwhelmed with messages from people begging for money which most of them didn’t even lose money from this hack you did but have some descends Decency and return the money you stole to euler I lost 60 Eth because of and I hope that you’ll be able to live with a guilt that someone lost his life because of what you did
