Terminator: Dark FateIt was fun, however it was essentially the exact same plot as Terminator 2, complete with an annoying invincible liquid terminator- it is simply not satisfying to watch a character with no visible vulnerabilities. terminator.jpg

John Wick: Chapter 3 – ParabellumIt is genuinely impressive how this franchise, which on paper sounds distressingly generic and formulaic, ends up being pretty good. Definitely starting to get a bit silly in places- but I'm willing to forget all of that, and a lot more, to see Neo and Morpheus back together. Bring on number 4!

This was a higher, but not top, tier MCU film. Although it does happen in cinema, it was still refreshing to see a strong female lead character who wasn't assigned a romantic interest. What really made the movie for me was Captain Marvel's witty banter which made the film fun in the lulls between action sequences. I would recommend this film.

I can NEVER get enough of beautiful cityscapes. This film had a beautiful cityscape that MOVED! What an amazingly fun concept. I enjoyed everything about this film, even the bits that made no sense. mortalengines.jpg
