In the coming months, we plan on doing another competition but with a different jury. A little alpha for you propdates readers: We have SloppyPencil, TheBoneys, Supriyo, CarlosGreta, and Joshua Fisher confirmed as our new jury! We are keen to experiment with more decentralized competition models but have yet to find the perfect one; that's why we prefer to focus on a proven model for now. If you have any suggestions, get in touch! We also want to do more to reach new artists, and we see Basepaint as a great place to connect with crypto-savvy pixel artists.

So, enough small talk, let's get to the meat of the update. Here's what me and Orca have been cooking up: I present to you, Noundry Gallery v2! We've since pivoted to an open and community-centered approach with no gatekeeping whatsoever. - Funds that were allocated to the curation committee have been repurposed to contests. Using the available funds (20 ETH), we want to organize 4 contests with different structures and learn from each of them to see what yields the best results and generates the most participation. - You can submit Noggles and Bodies to the gallery! The experience wouldn't be complete without them - Trait submissions to the DAO as candidate proposals will be open to all ## Celebrating Noundry There's a lot of amazing traits lost in old discord servers, or that never got to the spotlight. This is the moment to bring them back into everyone's attention (including the contest judges! 👀) To celebrate the next step in Noundry, and to give you some incentives to go through the spider webs and scavenging for your old Noundry artwork we're holding a art contest. We want to incentivize you to keep up with the awesome pixel art, and also to shine the spotlight on the best of the best traits, which might help with the voting if they eventually are proposed as additions to the DAO's artwork! Speaking of which, we did not forget about the roadmap on this prop! Now that we've laid a solid foundation to the gallery, we can move on to some exciting new features. ## Upcoming We still have some boxes to tick, and we did not forget about: - Submitting traits to the DAO. - Discord, Twitter and Farcaster bots to showcase the latest submissions - Comments and discussion on trait pages - Streamlined integration with Noundry Studio With these features we'll have the most accessible Noundry experience ever, and it won't be restricted to the Nouniversary alone!
