The lower number nouns are going to piss some people off, but this is a fun thing to do in an era of this dao where chaos and fuck shit has reigned supreme.
How do you keep people from gaming this?
Endaoment does not properly vet "some" of its organizations beyond them having a 50c3 on paper. They, by their own admission do not have the interest in doing so either. Why are we wasting money like this?! When this funding could go to grassroots organizations doing good BETTER. DAF (Donor Advised Funds) are also extremely problematic and we need more transparency than Endaoment can offer at this time.
We should be much more diligent and seek to build long term relationships with the organizations we fund and serve.
Thank you for putting this up and doing the write thing!
fey---trade-with-superpowers
I'd like to see this structured as a LOAN that is streamed based on milestones that is collectively decided by yourself, your team and the DAO and that we remove the notion that you will receive nouns or governance power rather than return 30% of revenue with accountability measure in tact.
How will we bring people over to Nouns? Why would we pay $360k if there is no interest in onboaring people to nouns?
Are we paying $360,000 for people to have a custom profile picture?
I also don't see degens and prediction market junkies participating in Nouns unless there is a strong through line and incentive for them to do so.
Nouns doesn't have a good track record with backing and funding tech and infrastructure including one of your past props. What have you learned from past failed protocols?
Would love to see a new proposal surface with these issues addressed
@0xae47...5Fed
Onboarding is ALWAYS a journey (not a singular exit and entry point) and we should begin to look at ANY prop that we collectively and individually support in that way. People need to be nurtured and supported through a series of touch points alongside sticky content and pathways to participation. I've already brought numerous people whether to propose or get involved and have always supported existing members. And for years, I have supported NFTs and the Web3 community at-large digging trenches for tens of thousands of people. I've earned my keep tenfold. My work in terms of this is uncanny and proven over the last SEVERAL years.
I believe I was clear on what the pipeline looks like for me, Lils and the work as well as what events (even beyond public goods) can look like and what Im rolling out in terms of content over a 50 day runway leading up to the event and post event for people coming and even from afar. I've executed similar campaigns with DisruptLA and many other events and thousands of hours of content. This is also a public goods event for the last time. This is not the Lil Coffee Rave (like why? lol) or a small impact event where we are feeding 3 cats a day.
I am happy to revamp with suggestions, feedback etc. Or whatever... And always open to questions
A big Thank you to those who ACTUALLY read my prop, asked thoughtful questions, waded through the mounds of information, videos and pictures that I posted in the Lils discord, those of you who sent toys for our kids, sent your thoughtful DMs and have supported me.

@0xdcf3...7a19
This was to call the contract back and this is the address and instructions I was given to do so as Chompix had his cool prop up at the same time and it wouldn't have been enough if both had passed. Apologies on this!
This isn't mere merch. With respect, describing it as such is disingenuous. EVERY kid and their family member at this PUBLIC GOODS event gets a tackle box, shirt, fishing pole/rod/reel, etc. Backpacks allow these kids to keep all of their stuff inside. If you've ever worked with kids, you knowwww. T-shirts allow us to ID EVERYYYY person that is with us especially for safety and security reasons. Yes, they are also cool as they can and will be evergreen beyond the event which is a plus, but there is a reason for these things and why they are important at PUBLIC GOODS events like this that is in service to HUNDREDS of people. Nothing I do comes without a rationale, especially in the important work that I do in my community and beyond.
Further, MOST of these kids, who absolutely come from under resourced communities, are not coming to this PUBLIC GOODS event with their own tackle box, fishing poles, resources for parking passes, or anything for that matter. We also give some of these families groceries (like we do at our weekly food distro) and always throw a nice BBQ, pass out resources, etc.

> Also echo Mike's concerns in discord around it primarily funding merch. Additionally, not sure why there is a random 1.7 stETH transaction to the multisig operated by me/trav/pipe? This is not mentioned anywhere in the prop and nobody spoke to me about it.
For clarification/feedback:
This event is produced by me (as a LILS community member) in collab with/and w/ my dad AND some awesome community partners, so manyyyy volunteers, Lils community members and Nounish Folks liek klim who has already sent us several boxes of stuff (thxx) and would be designing our Lils trophy, and artists which together, makes all of this happen. This is NOT an event with Lils slapped on and I have thought through all aspects very thoughtfully and provided spreadsheets like the content tracker (and docs on request) so that people see this is the case. We have revamped the entire event from top to bottom including the format, activities, etc. The content tracker is the BEST reference for any changes and ongoing branding, messaging, content, etc. Suggestions are ALWAYS welcomed.
We also give out food to the first 35+ families that ARRIVE to the venue. We do food distro weekly so this isnt just a one day event more than it is an extension of our community work and public goods and the trust we've built.
We also DO need support to make this happen. This is our LARGEST event this year.
Onboarding: I have onboarded tens of thousands of people onto the Blockchain as well as Web3/NFTs, etc via NFTs.Tips (70k+ people at one time) which I co-founded many years ago, BlockbusterDAO, where I was the Head of Community which went viral overnight, launching Twitter Spaces via URCONDUIT, many events, thousands of hours of content, etc.
Participants will be able to participate in upcoming events pipeline (as noted in this prop) as onboarding is always a journey when done right and with sensitivity. More importantly, Participants and others will have access to join and participate in marketing channels (in my #LILDerby Guide) and the Discord via all of the SEVENTEEN marketing channels. We also have event hashtags #LilFishingDay #LilDerby @lilnounsdao
For people in Web3, content is key/king and is why I have dedicated amount of human resources to use this to craft brand story, increase visibility and deeply engage folks bringing them through a multi-pronged journey leading up to the event (50 days atp), during the event and afterwards with evergreen content...
Happy to answer any additional questions and always open to feedback xoxo
# Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day
## Overview
TLDR; The **Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day** is an IRL community/social impact activation designed to introduce families and youth to Lil Nouns through sports fishing and playful, hands-on experiences. The event is co-hosted and produced by Lil Nouns x Lils community member NatalieCrüe and Valley Community SDA Community Services (our host).
and Second Prize Winner (her dad on the right)")
## Highlights
-Public Goods/Community Impact event
-T-Shirt Designed by prolific fine artist and designer Brian Morris
-Robust content creation w/ 4 month plan (Pre event, Live, and Post-Event)
-Nounish merch (stickers, keychains, toys, etc) for kids
This annual event is expected to draw over 300 attendees, including over 228 youth. Within 3 hours of opening our pre-registration form, there were already over 200 signups.. and counting. There has been a **massive** demand for this event by the community at-large with over 103 shares in 3 hours on our original [FB announcement](https://www.facebook.com/groups/688042038014714/permalink/3662838087201746/) in one of the largest FB groups in our city and region as well as countless requests to open up another registration period.

## History
This particular event has been running for over two decades in Stockton, CA. Through sports, fishing education and community-centric activities, thousands of under-resourced families and youth have been able to build community and belonging, build bridges between their respective communities, and participate in positive activities in a city where crime runs rampant. Adventist Community Services has supported our longstanding community events for decades without strings attached.
**However**, it is time for a revamp. Through the lens of Lil Nouns ⌐◨-◨ and our love for play, IRL events, color, and public goods; we have totally reimagined this annual event. With help from several members from our Lil Nouns community and some incredible community collaborations, this event has been reborn and made a Lil Nounish. This is not a religious event. It is a Non-Profit event. This event is inclusive to **anyone** who wants to attend no matter what their background, beliefs, and interests is/are.
Lil Nouns has successfully funded multiple IRL activations that create low-barrier, high-fun entry points for events, communities and new audiences. These activities work because they focus on shared experiences, culture and community building rather than technical explanations. Lil Nouns funding and support have consistently prioritized projects that make the ecosystem visible, approachable, and fun. This Annual Family Fishing Day is a natural extension of this approach. Families in our community frequently attend community events and activities regularly and sports, of all types from football to sports fishing, has always been a huge thing in Stockton. Meeting communities and young people where they already are and offering them creative, hands-on Lil Nouns experiences is the most effective way to execute social impact projects on the ground.
## Logistics

Date September 13, 2026
Venue [Oak Grove Regional Park](https://sjparks.com/parks/shumway-oak-grove-regional-park), Stockton, CA
Duration 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5 hours)
Capacity 300+ attendees (250+ youth expected)
Format Community fishing day, Lil Resource Fair & BBQ, and a creative Lil Nouns activation via a Stamp Rally, Nounish merch, etc
Lil Nouns will be threaded throughout the event from the marketing occurring before the event (has already started), to media and press engagement, integrated onsite engagement via a stamp rally activation, event merch and some amazing prizes and awards, social content, and post event via social marketing and cc0 content. This is NOT a sponsorship. This is an event, with existing community buy-in, that has been rebuilt AND reimagined through the lens and fabric of Lil Nouns.
At the heart of this social impact and public goods activation is a Lil Nouns Stamp Rally event and Fishing Derby where attendees will:
-Receive a limited edition Lil Nouns shirt designed by prolific fine artist, Brian Morris
-Customize a tackle box with Lil Nouns stickers and accessories to take home as a long lasting memory
-Receive free fishing gear (fishing pole, rod/reel, etc) and Nounish merch (keychains, toys, etc)
-One-of-a-kind Lil Nouns trophy for the derby winner
-Participate in a Lil Nouns Stamp Rally event
-Visit booths from local community organizations via our Lil Resource Fair
Participants will engage in a stamp rally, similar to what you'd find at anime conventions, where attendees visit different booths and activity stations to collect stamps on a postcard. A completed card earns a pair of Noggles and other prizes. This gamified approach drives foot traffic to all event booths including out Lil Resource fair and creates a fun, exploratory experience for families.

## Audience
The Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day is designed to serve a diverse, intergenerational audience with a shared interest in community, family, and the outdoors. Our outreach efforts are focused on the following key segments:

**Target Audience:**
-Families with children ages 5–12 in California's Central Valley
-Youth who participate in sports and outdoor activities
-Under-resourced families seeking free community activities and resources
-The broader Stockton and San Joaquin County regional community (this event has been running for over two decades. First year with this new format)

## Costs
This proposal requests $7,667.04 USDC from Lil Nouns DAO. The funds will cover the specific, Nounish event and activation elements as listed below.
Adventist Community Services, which has graciously hosted our community events for decades, and additional local sponsors are contributing to the event via venue down payment costs, permit costs and sanitation setup, additional tables, water, marketing, pre-event storage, some food, and general event operations. We have also received a donation of fishing poles for youth participants.
You can also view the full budget [HERE](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18sNB7VP-DX-RE0W1ZHTNxNsT-dlvOqV_RJY12Cp0Ip4/edit?usp=sharing).
.jpg)
**Budget Notes:** The event organizers have also contributed funds and in-kind donations towards fishing gear, deposits, more food (our largest expense), refreshments, etc. We have also received in-kind donations from local establishments, fishing pole donations from community members and companies like Zebco, etc
Cost for printing is being subsidized by in-kind donations, existing platform credits, and 501(c)3 discounts.
I'm not taking any funding for my work on this event.
## Promotion & Marketing
Promotion for the **Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day** is already underway and gaining significant momentum. Within 3 hours of opening our pre-registration form, we received 228 signups with over 105 shares in one of the region's largest Facebook group (129,000+ members). This demonstrates the massive community demand and the effectiveness of our grassroots outreach.
Our multi-pronged promotional and marketing strategy is tailored to the local landscape and how our existing audiences prefers to receive information via multichannel marketing as well as offered in multiple languages including Spanish.
You can find our robust CC0 event strategy, marketing channel guide, content and drafts, and content tracker here: **[#LilDerby Tracker](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1p2WTb8Ux-MtOAJdUUlHV7hcqu7IGm76bAup7w3GusjA/edit?usp=sharing)**

## Measures of Success
The **Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day** is more than a single event. It is the flagship activation in a broader ecosystem of community engagement and public goods. Our activation and rollout has already begun and will continue beyond the event itself as we roll out recap content and upcoming events.
Our goals are designed to measure not only the success of this event but also its effectiveness as a pipeline for future initiatives, including our upcoming immersive touring free book fair, decentralized art festival, and ongoing community activations.
We have organized our goals into four key pillars: **Attendance and Reach, Engagement and Participation, Satisfaction and Sentiment, and Follow Up Activity and Community Growth.**
**Metric Target Measurement Method** Total attendees 300+ On-site count and registration data
Youth participants 250 Pre-registration and on-site check-in
Pre-registration 228 Google Forms registration data
Social media reach 244k Facebook, Instagram, X analytics
Media Hits 10 Press coverage tracking
**Attendance and Reach** These metrics measure our ability to draw the community in and validate the effectiveness of our promotional channels.
Our primary target is 300 or more total attendees, measured through registration data and stamp rally card collection and distribution, as well as post-event surveys and follow up. This establishes a baseline for scaling future events. We are specifically targeting 250 or more youth participants between the ages of 1 and 17, tracked through registration data and Stamp Rally card distribution. Reaching families is critical, as they are our primary audience for current and future educational, social impact, and creative activations.
**Engagement and Participation** Our live social media presence will include a minimum of 20 posts across channels (Refer to our [#LilDerby Tracker](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1p2WTb8Ux-MtOAJdUUlHV7hcqu7IGm76bAup7w3GusjA/edit?usp=sharing)), keeping our digital community engaged in real-time. We will also conduct live stream broadcasts in 10 to 30 minute intervals during peak activity, providing authentic content that builds trust with remote audiences. People may also join our Discord and other channels via our event QR code.
**Satisfaction** Satisfaction is the leading indicator of long-term community growth. Families who have a positive experience are more likely to attend future events, join Lil Nouns channels, and spread the word to their networks.

we love Dota2
Fun, debauchery and keeping Nouns weird af is an absolute fit. Not sure why the glizzy gobblers have their panties in a bunch. We should be funding wild things even on a micro level
delegate-nouns-x
Would love for people to understand that the core of this prop is to revitalize the Nouns X account. We have a massive following and should working overtime to re-engage our social media following especially as the algorithm has been changed as of this week to bring more visibility to accounts via their following. This could be a huge push to bring Nouns back to the forefront on socials.
We have already been churning out content and having a delegation would speed run this very important work that we are dedicated to working on long term.
I feel that you all could do a better job at mobilizing the DAO around your initiatives way before they and an ask occurs, posting more accessible and frequent propdates and the outcomes of those initiatives, and showing up more often especially when you all do not have a financial ask from the DAO. It is not mandatory, but I think relationship between the community and yourselves would greatly improve and you would have more buy-in if this were to occur.
You can certainly do a better job at working on some financial modeling in order to build a stronger case for props like this. Also, while it is not mandatory or an obligation, there are several people who had some very clear insights, questions and feedback and I do not feel like those were taken in consideration for this prop thus many DAO members wasted hours in feedback sessions and calls on this particular prop. Lastly, we are not in the space to throw spaghetti at the wall. I would love to see a more concrete prop that spells out how the DAO would get some funds back and also be able to collaborate and utilize the clubhouse for community and industry events. This could have been a good start, but lacks keen details and community input
nouns-foundation-incENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
No one in their right mind after the Food Nouns shenanigans that wylin is involved in.. should vote in favor of this prop.
Further, and admin that signs this MOU should be removed from their position as this is extraction at its finest and the DAO and its adjacent communities and funded props should be held accountable and held to much higher standards when funding is requested from our treasury.
A SEPARATE prop should be put up to cancel the ENDAOMENT stream. They do not thoroughly vet (allegedly lol) their organizations and have not engaged with the DAO fro quite some time.
Further, any organizations and corporations that request funding should have open, equitable and fair elections which are open to participants and holders within the community. Grant funding should also be voted on by holders, not a rag tag group of people that have not been elected equitably and vetted to ensure funds are spent in alignment with the dao's ongoing funding endeavors. I love Klin and Frankie are cool af but I am afraid they are being roped into some fuck shit.
Why tf would we spend money on celebs and big brands if that is the north star? Many big brands have abandoned ship when the money dried up and cameras bounced. Those of us who continue to carry water out of this ship deserve more respect than this prop brings forth and that is to fund Nouns native endeavors, projects and social impact work acorss the globe and do so together. Not your pet project Wylin. I expect more from you!
Cancel this damn prop and make amends with the food nouns community and press start again.
Had the pleasure to meet this team while I was in Uganda last month. I attended their end of The year event in Kampala with many of their students/kids and their partner organizations and I had an incredible time. It was pure bliss!
They are running some, incredible local initiatives and are well connected across the continent and beyond. I have 10000% belief that they will execute at a high level and bring some much needed energy, press and collaboration to Lil Nouns.
If this isn't Nounish, I don't know what is!
Gneric has done an incredible job documenting their journey, engaging their audience, and a frequent participant in the community. And alllll the vibes!
Is it possible to narrow the scope of this research effort? As it is so broad and there is an abundance of research that exists in these areas. Also what is the intended outcome of this intended research endeavor and what does Nouns get out of this besides an AMA?

I love this, however the themes could use A LOT of work and are to be frank, a bit ugly and look very low budget/scraggly. Gradients are so 2022. Maybe a design contest in the future would be a great way t amplify the great work you all have been doing and get some more captivating theme with better UX. I AM voting yes with the caveat that you invest in more appealing themes with more professional design. You can hit up Infiltrate aka Brandon @infi1trate on Twitter if you need a recc. Tell him I sent you all!

I think I would like to see a more fleshed out version presented at one time, and we, as a community, have a more robust conversation about this would mean for all of us and what all of the stage entail. This is also a huge chunk of resources
The Nouns Breakers have done nothing but contribute massive value to this community. We need to continue to support them by any means necessary. I'm not sure how many people understand how much of a massive event and competition this is, however, b boys travel to this event from around the world. I'm in heavy support of this prop as well as team, Nouns Breakers
One slight note, I miss seeing the graphics and amazing creativity that the Nouns Breakers put into their previous props so for future props I would love to see all of you bring that colorful energy back
This is a great initiative and a great way to onboard new folks as well as roll out future collaborations and marketing campaigns attached to the DAO and future props. Lovee this!
I would love to see NounsGrants spread out their asks instead of loading them up on Camp at one time. It would give people like myself time and multiple opportunities to support and give great feedback.
Also, Nouns has a long, storied history of supporting social impact and community-centric projects and Supporting this initiative is Nounish!

NounsAmigos por vidaaaaa!
As a community, we should strive to encompass as many cultural crypto enclaves as possible - giving people who come from different countries, mother tongues and experiences the opportunities to participate in governance and the Nouniverse.
Can you document the legal costs (does not have to be super detailed)? Is the cost due to where it is being domiciled/filed por ejemplo filing in CDMX vs. Jalisco? Or is it for the cost of compliance?
Also accounting should be another line item. :)
Also, you may look at FracturedAtlas (USA), a fiscal sponsor, as a way to take donations from people and companies in the States (they may receive a tax a deduction) until you get a non-profit. Happy to share my experiences using them in the past or even similar structures if it makes sense.
Overall I am in support of this prop and wish you all good energy and luck! xoxo

What might be more appealing is a pre-sale that surveys the feasibility and appetite for this. On onekey official channels there can be a survey or even a presale link that people can go to via your official website instead of the DAO forefront. This would ensure that we arent left with extra onekeys (who would hold these is a bit of a security issue too).
Thank you for responding btw!

> If any units remain unsold, the DAO retains full ownership of those wallets. They can be utilized for community giveaways, events, or other promotional activities. OneKey will handle the storage and fulfillment logistics at no additional cost to the DAO. This ensures that the DAO’s investment is protected, and unsold units can still serve valuable purposes within the community

Im not sure the appetite for these is there, but I am super open to being proved wrong. I am also sus of receiving a OneKey from anyone or any site other than the actual manufacturer. That is a security risk.

Are you connected to the "capture group"? What is your motivation in putting up this proposal? Can we see an invoice for the cost from OneKey?
