# Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 (Final Attempt) **Updates:** we significantly cut the budget again, from $65k to $42,069. We cut pizza cost from $55k to $26,069 and kept our Nounish activation budget ($16k) the same. This will support Nounish parties in 50 cities. Incorporating feedback to find additional ways to onboard to Nouns (at no additional cost), we'll do a governance activation with Nouns Builder and encourage Nounish captains to participate in a collaborative Noggles art piece. To make sure Nounish SubDAOs are still highly involved in the global event, we'll coordinate with them separately to fund their activations. --- On May 22, 2025 (Bitcoin Pizza Day), PizzaDAO will organize our fifth annual Global Pizza Party. This year, we're bringing the party to 420 cities across more than 100 countries, expecting a combined total of over 25,000 guests worldwide. # Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 (V2) **Updates:** we significantly cut the budget, from $88k to $65k. We cut pizza cost from $55k to $49k, Nounish Merch from $20k to $12k, and Nounish Coordination/Activation/Video Production from $13k to $4k. Incorporating feedback to find additional ways to onboard to Nouns (at no additional cost), we added a governance activation with Nouns Builder. To make sure Nounish SubDAOs are still highly involved in the global event, we'll coordinate with them separately to fund their activations. --- On May 22, 2025 (Bitcoin Pizza Day), PizzaDAO will organize our fifth annual Global Pizza Party. This year, we're bringing the party to 420 cities across more than 100 countries, expecting a combined total of over 25,000 guests worldwide. That's nearly double the size of last year's event, which took place in 200+ cities across 80+ countries with over 15,000 guests. Each city received some combination of Big Shot's Plastic Noggles, Pins, and Toys, Big Shot's Paper Noggles that we received as part of [Prop 334](https://nouns.wtf/vote/334), and Motivate's Plastic Noggles. # Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 (V2) **Updates:** we significantly cut the budget, from $88k to $65k. We cut pizza cost from $55k to $49k, Nounish Merch from $20k to $12k, and Nounish Coordination/Activation/Video Production from $13k to $4k. Incorporating feedback to find additional ways to onboard to Nouns (at no additional cost), we added a governance activation with Nouns Builder. To make sure Nounish SubDAOs are still highly involved in the global event, we'll be coordinating with them separately to fund their activations. --- We invite the global Nouns DAO community to join our celebration for the third year in a row, continuing to make history together. The $65,000 requested will go towards buying pizza, supporting Nounish captains, and sending Nounish party kits all over the world. This is a long-term investment in the future of the global Nounish community. On May 22, 2025 (Bitcoin Pizza Day) PizzaDAO will organize our fifth annual Global Pizza Party in 400+ cities across 100+ countries, bringing together over 25,000 people worldwide. # Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 (V2) **Updates:** we significantly cut the budget, from $88k to $65k. We cut pizza cost from $55k to $49k, Nounish Merch from $20k to $12k, and Nounish Coordination/Activation/Video Production from $13k to $4k. Incorporating feedback to find additional ways to onboard to Nouns (at no additional cost), we added a governance activation with Nouns Builder. To make sure Nounish SubDAOs are still highly involved in the global event, we'll be coordinating with them separately to fund their activations. --- We invite the global Nouns DAO community to join our celebration for the third year in a row, continuing to make history together. In 2024, Nouns contributed $69,420, of which $49,020 went towards pizza and the rest towards Nounish activations (29%). Global sponsors contributed an additional $63k and local sponsors contributed thousands beyond that, so Nouns' contribution represented 42% or less of 2024's total sponsor contribution towards pizza cost. In 2025, we're requesting $88,000, of which $55,000 will go towards our costs and the rest towards Nounish activations (37.5%). Global sponsors including Base, Stand with Crypto, Octant, and others will contribute an additional $175k+ and local sponsors will contribute thousands beyond that, so Nouns' contribution will represent 24% or less of 2025's total sponsor contribution towards pizza cost. # Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 We invite the global Nouns DAO community to join our celebration for the third year in a row, continuing to make history together. The $88,000 requested will go towards buying pizza, activating Nounish organizations, and sending Nounish party kits all over the world. This is a long-term investment in the future of the global Nounish community. On May 22, 2025 (Bitcoin Pizza Day) PizzaDAO will organize our fifth annual Global Pizza Party in 400+ cities across 100+ countries, bringing together over 25,000 people worldwide. # Nouns DAO x PizzaDAO: Global Pizza Party 2025 We invite the global Nouns DAO community to join our celebration for the third year in a row, continuing to make history together. We way over-delivered on this: we sent Nounish kits to 53 cities! Each city received some combination of Big Shot's Plastic Noggles, Pins, and Toys, Big Shot's Paper Noggles that we received as part of [Prop 334](https://nouns.wtf/vote/334), and Motivate's Plastic Noggles. Big Shot's Paper Noggles make for great group photos and Motivate's Plastic Noggles and Big Shot's Noggles Pins offer the longest-term return as recipients tend to wear them again at future web3 events. We are a global community of builders, pizza enthusiasts, creators, collectors, artists, and rebels who believe in using crypto to make the world a better place. PizzaDAO is made up of new entrants to the industry as well as crypto veterans, including Nouns DAO members, CryptoPunk holders, Gitcoin KERNEL Fellows, and builders of all kinds. You might have shared some pizza with us during previous global pizza parties, at our crypto conference side events, or at one of the many smaller events we've supported. We’ve thrown four global pizza parties, organized 42+ crypto conference side events, and built strong partnerships with many organizations across the onchain ecosystem. Some numbers: - Over 300,000 slices served - Over 500 pizzerias supported - Presence in 80+ countries - Thousands of people onboarded to web3 ### 🍕 Our Model PizzaDAO came together in February 2021 with 314 contributing artists to create the generative pizza NFT Rare Pizzas and throw a Global Pizza Party with the sales proceeds. This year, as we continue to scale, we're bringing on [Mono](https://x.com/0xMonografia) as a dedicated central organizer for all the Nounish activity around the day. ### ⌐◨-◨ 🚚 Nounish Distribution In [our last proposal](https://nouns.wtf/vote/522), we promised to deliver Nounish gear to 16 cities for 2024. We way over-delivered on this: we sent Nounish kits to 53 cities! Each city received some combination of Big Shot's Plastic Noggles, Pins, and Toys, Big Shot's Paper Noggles that we received as part of [Prop 334](https://nouns.wtf/vote/334), and Motivate's Plastic Noggles. Big Shot's Paper Noggles make for great group photos and Motivate's Plastic Noggles and Big Shot's Noggles Pins offer the longest-term return as recipients tend to wear them again at future web3 events.
