Summary
This proposal requests DAO approval to reduce the Anvil snipe function fee on Clutch Markets from 4% to 3%, with the aim of increasing adoption and improving competitive positioning.
Motivation
The snipe function is one of Anvil’s most capable execution tools, yet the current 4% fee is above market rate for comparable tooling. Snipe participants are cost-sensitive by nature. The fee is suppressing volume, and at that level users are either executing manually or routing elsewhere.
A 100 basis point reduction brings Anvil into a more competitive range. Given the price-elastic nature of snipe activity, the expected volume response should offset any reduction in per-execution revenue, leaving treasury income neutral to positive.
