Fun idea, but not super unique or anything I think will go viral after seeing many similar pages on IG where they drive cars to feed stray cats. Whats the unique angle here for Lils to promote?
Leaning no for a few reasons:
1. How will lil's be represented? It's unclear.. Named and tagging @lilnouners on the socials? How will a logo on the front of the car be captured by the video? -- Shouldn't it be facing the camera? Will these groups add us to their bio or a webpage that will be long lasting? Where do they promote the other groups funding these initiatives (how do they raise funds in general?)?
2. I mentioned to you in DMs that we have an outstanding project with Lil Nick right to place feeders for strays. It's not complete yet and I think because of that Lils should wait to see how that plays out before we fund more of the same type of initiative. (I get thats not your problem, but when thinking about the general DAO is whats good for the overall group; this is my personal opinion).
While food runs out, the feeders last and allow the community to fill them, themselves.. which i think is more sustainable model for how lils can contribute to such a large problem.. (12-13 million stray cats and dogs in the Philippines?!)...
3. Feels like feeding them, without spaying or neutering is only adding to the problem, no? I get education is key -- But if locals aren't able/willing to feed them, why would they trap and neuter them? Feels like we're growing the problem in a sense with nothing more than 'education.'
4. This is a nice little charity project but IMO sadly lil's don't have the funds to support straight charity anymore without some form of SOLID proliferation model mixed in or long lasting content lils can point back to with defined outcome, etc. -- This feels unclear from the current proposal
