Captured in a 'total vote' sense, no.. in a active voter sense, easily -- (BEM didn't all vote yet either, nor will they unless they have to)..
The inactive voters aren't sitting here watching our prop threads (besides the anon's & dusk)... So post this cry for help in an actual public place or no one is 'waking up' to vote.
Voter apathy is through the roof for a year+ now. Go get em back, big dawg!~ You're our only hope -- no one else can seem to do it or has even really tried.
Where are the Founders?
Where are all the folks we gifted free nouns to?
Where are all the folks with nouns who have taken big bucks from the dao?

I'd be in favor of this if it was to walk around crowded areas/events in costumes (more at end) -- I'm not able to support DOTA events for Lil's, sadly. I don't even think the Esports crowd will think its weird or fun (or buy merch) and just consider us a vehicle for funding. Like, are you signing up for Bank of America or buying a new pair of Adidas just because they sponsored the world cup? Or are people just watching the games and kinda overlooking the sponsors?
I feel like you're not hearing voters when we talk about this in general.. I know its your 'passion' and what you know best -- But you know the DAO's history with DOTA here, the comments from the general esports community, the players/fans who have come and gone as the funds dry up. I think Esports has run its course in the Nouns ecosystem in general until I see something positive about Nouns come from anyone besides you.
I also don't really like "permanent Print-on-Demand" -- feels like it cheapens the brand. What designs? I feel like the last shirts were cool, but not something people want to buy.. Did you sell any of those? If you do manage to sell them, does any rev come back tot he DAO? -- Not clear. Regardless, we're not big enough for more than 1-2 people (maybe) to want to buy a Lil Noun shirt currently..
**What I would support:**
I would support 1-2 costumes, specific to Lils, with defined places (more than just "Halloween and Christmas" loosely listed). Could be you streaming IRL, interacting with people, taking pictures, etc.. (Similar to the Pudgy Penguin costumes we see interacting with streamers, walking around NYC, showing up at events, etc.), and providing an account for people to tag in photos (could be a simple business card printed out with the @ on one side and some lil noggles on the other). People's tags could get re-shared by @lilnouners, etc.. A new IRL character account run by you would be fun to watch grow.
I feel like general crowds people will be more curious and more likely to interact; "wtf are you supposed to be?" ... vs being a mascot at an event where people are there to watch a game/tournament.
Feel free to hit me up directly if you want to chat through any of these points.
Good luck regardless of my feedback <3
Thanks for bringing ideas to Lils.
Literally wondering if anyone from Nudge even knows about this proposal.. zero signs anywhere. No one from the org could be bothered to comment onchain, on socials, etc? Strange that this is put up by the Breakeven movement "intern," and not someone from Nudge?
How can we vote on this without knowing upfront how "Nudge will formalize the ecosystem partnership with Nouns"?
This feels 'two steps backwards' for a permissionless org... And it's putting the 'cart before the deep fried horse' here, unnecessarily.
I'd also disagree with "Most relationships between DAOs and startups begin with a grant." When most have actually started through a relationship with voters in the DAO, and earned through sweat equity and building with/for Nouns.
We should be building more startups here in Nouns, vs looking for general partnerships.
Feeders puts the responsibility on the owners of the feeders. When the food runs out, they refill.
When the food runs out for this project...? They need more... They also need operators for the remote cars.. This isnt as scalable as the feeder project.
I might be more inclined to vote yes here if the others aspects were fleshed out more and this felt valuable as a promotable asset for lils. It doesn't fully to me, as is.

This money goes to fund buying cat food directly, and will get us a little bit of content for the twitter account since it is currently dead. This has more chance of proliferation IMO than the feeders, and I know this will be delivered in a timely manner since the complexity is much lower.

Not saying you would rug ... saying I know you'd rather jeopardize your health than rug; which means even if your gut was screaming "pls sir! stop!" you wouldn't.. lol And if you did stop...... I guess you'd send the funds back? Not clear.

Fun idea, but not sure its worth $500 in regards to proliferation -- Feels very low signal with the reach on Farcaster, Zora, X. I'm not sure sharing you with a hotdog half shoved into your mouth is the Lil X content we're looking for.. (but maybe! Lets see what voters think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
And honestly I personally can't support eating 8 hotdogs a day.. seems pretty bad for your health overall.. Once funded you're locked in and at that point you rug if you don't finish? lol -- Seems risky for the DAO and for your health from my perspective.
Hopefully you don't need a fecal transplant one day from all this dog eating, lmao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tr7AhkOEj4
Regardless of my opinion, good luck with the prop, earning those dog bounties, and thanks for bringing your first prop to Lils!!
Fun idea, but not super unique or anything I think will go viral after seeing many similar pages on IG where they drive cars to feed stray cats. Whats the unique angle here for Lils to promote?
Leaning no for a few reasons:
1. How will lil's be represented? It's unclear.. Named and tagging @lilnouners on the socials? How will a logo on the front of the car be captured by the video? -- Shouldn't it be facing the camera? Will these groups add us to their bio or a webpage that will be long lasting? Where do they promote the other groups funding these initiatives (how do they raise funds in general?)?
2. I mentioned to you in DMs that we have an outstanding project with Lil Nick right to place feeders for strays. While food runs out, the feeders last and allow the community to fill them, themselves.. which i think is more sustainable model for how lils can contribute to such a large problem.. (12-13 million stray cats and dogs in the Philippines?!)...
3. Feels like feeding them, without spaying or neutering is only adding to the problem, no? I get education is key -- But if locals aren't able/willing to feed them, why would they trap and neuter them? Feels like we're growing the problem in a sense with nothing more than 'education.'

Regardless, good luck and thanks for bringing ideas to Lils <3
Some Nouncilers are holders, others delegates.
Why? -- I was trying to suggest a group 'everyone' joins, and has equal weight, and using the delegation as a carrot to grow the group to literally everyone -- a true democracy within Nouns. But as we can see from the outcome here, voters obviously don't want to see that for a number of reasons. Which is okay... Was a bad idea to suggest it, I guess.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nouncil is #1 all time voter and participant in Nouns.
The group was started by a small group, grew, and those founding members all left.. yet the body lives on.
Dare I say Nouncil might be the last group standing and voting at some point?
Nouncil has its flaws, but at least its a group that anyone can join, where everyone gets 1 vote -- A small rare corner of Democracy in Nouns DAO that invites those with and without Nouns into the fold.
On top of the vote, who else is hosting weekly calls consistently for years inviting proposers? Nouncil had Endaoment on the call last week where they presented the impact from the UIP -- Was a great presentation.
Some of you need to stop talking like Nouncil is 5 people who sit on discord after the call ends... it's not. Be the change you want to see in the world, don't just complain about it.
EOD Nouncil is fulfilling its mandate; Vote on props. Remove members under 69% participation. Host weekly calls. Vote on new members.
But ya, instead of joining and helping shape the group with your vote lets just vote no with no good reason besides ego ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Long live Nouns.

I don't think i can responsibly vote FOR this until seeing at least one written post on his personal X or the IG. Everything I see is re-posting others. Props like this should come with proof of work.
How will DUNA have final day over posts? they'll review them all? Also, didn't we learn our lesson with Dusk? We should have time limits on delegations so we don't end up with handfuls of folks with long term delegation to the X. It's an actual security risk. Maybe new delegation props should come with removing old non-duna delegation at the same time.

Heavy agree with this statement from krel on prop 216 when we funded research for this the first time:
"Im a big proponent of nounsdao funding public goods, especially in the software/crypto/ethereum domain, so on the one hand, i love this initiative. But Ive come to the conclusion that private voting acts to further dehumanize nounsdao, and that, on net, we gain from having faces (or avatars) attached to votes for as long as possible.
I believe nounsdao is better off in a world where voting comes with some social pressure to take responsibility and publicly stand behind voting decisions. I acknowledge social pressure also swings the other way (relationship costs, nepotism, etc) but Im willing to make that tradeoff vs cold, faceless PvP."
[...also these props always seem to come up when (imo) bad actors and book value bois are lurking.]
what happened to all this? -- How can anyone genuinely believe your vision posts when you don't do any of the things you promised the DAO already? -->
"*- Host weekly governance Spaces
- Amplify community conversations
- Improve transparency, onboarding, and engagement
This initiative will be supported by a full-time social media manager and serve as a much-needed communication bridge between builders, voters, new contributors, and partners."*

Would likely vote to move to a single lil per day auction with no reserve. ....but lots of risks with that also, like additional costs for frontends and development.
1. In general I think $69 lils (.03 eth) are a good price and mostly affordable. $7 lil's is actually insane, imo, lol..
2. VRGDA is fun and lets people get lils they vibe with (I've bought 20+ mouse lil's through this way. Not to "control the lil vote" but because i vibe with mice and like the art).
3. You also don't need lils to vote and gain delegates from other inactive voters. Participation is FREE for many. Some have bought 1-2 lils and control hundreds.. If someone asks they are typically delegated to or sponsored onchain. You can always propose to gain a lil -- Recent artist prop created 4 new lil holders, for example.
"We haven't sold any lils though..." ...uhh, so buy some. Promote the DAO? Onboard your friends?
No money and want more votes? -- Indirectly, or directly ask people to delegate to you. Show them you're a responsible voter who shows up and cares about the DAO and you *will* get delegations (if you prove to use the votes you may get to keep them long term). Go around and tell token holders "*mikegood must be stopped*" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Most of the large holders barely participate in governance, also... eth still goes to treasury daily from the sales regardless if they sell on secondary, or not.

We've talked a lot about this and I understand some of the critiques/concerns from the lil nutheads, but EOD I trust Ben to *cook* for nouns even tho I don't think this is a 'let me cook' prop like others we've seen.. This one seems pretty clear to me:
a. Buy a truck.
b. Deck it out with nounish coffee gear.
c. Pull up to and collab with various events and places to produce experiences where content will be captured -- Across two years.
Personally excited for the things in-between the larger events; the stunts, local gatherings, and all the content captured throughout the course of two years... I suggest a fresh social account and getting a pair of recording glasses to capture content and interactions from your pov -- would be great to be able to look back at the full two years on a single IG/tiktok or something, and follow along on the adventures.
Content is king. And I think Ben makes good content.

yolo'ing this back up and only editing the dollar amount, after people ask to include lils vs nouns, makes me know this likely isnt going to pass.. tried to give you some suggestions on what lils would like to see here, nothing seems to be changed :(
Leader board looked like most people only went as far as I did, which was not far.. No response to how this will be promoted or adopt users, or how lils will become part of this.. would rather not retro something we have very little to do with or chance to help impact.
Sorry man-- I know I said I'd support a lower ask, but I meant if you actually worked in some of the feedback.. replaced nouns with lils, etc.. if you want to build with lils, we're happy to have you.. but going to need to collab a bit - its gotta be more of a give and take relationship, IMO. We don't have the funds to just retro random projects that don't really consider lils at all in them.
