i understand the need for urgency given treasury outflow. i think you can simultaneously:
- be strict with spending as you have been
- smooth out cash flows if you stick with your principles over a longer time horizon
- don't vote down everything after this prop and make us turn away great builders. feels like an overly blunt solution. simply vote for great props you believe will drive value back to the dao and be strict with your bets
- vote for this prop as one of the only clear technology bets to make nouns sustainable. im confident we can drive tangible value back to the dao via revnets
on that note:
- i think flows will continue to drive meaningful demand for nouns. already know some folks who bought their first noun after being onboarded to flows. grass roots impact is a better sell than any marketing we can do
- if we structure the revnets well, it will drive demand for nouns and/or grow treasury through the token split
ultimately our goal is to sustainably fund as many quality builders as possible. we are aligned with each other there.
the original rationale behind this proposal was to find a new way to bring in outside capital to fund nouns builders. nfts sales alone don't seem to be cutting it. take a bet on some technology that is forging a new path towards #nounsbreakeven
