Memo 0x3227dee4…642e21 on Ethereum

Massive turnout and show of support here, and for that, myself and the Deli crew thank you all. We are looking forward to delivering the DAO the next chapter of Nouns Deli and showing the potential it unlocks. Lets Keep Cooking ⌐◨-◨ +1 > When I first encountered the idea of Nouns Deli, I admit I had some reservations. However, the incredible strides made by this initiative have completely transformed my perspective. Nouns Deli has not just met expectations but has surpassed them in many ways. > > I am choosing to support the continued growth and development of Nouns Deli. I am excited about the potential for it to become a defining feature of Melbourne's food scene, a beacon of innovation and community-driven success. I look forward to seeing how Nouns Deli continues to expand its reach, and together, as a DAO, we will redefine what's possible. > > let them cook!!! ⌐◨-◨ +1 > Bones has always been receptive to feedback, input and contributing to other projects, proposals and initiatives. > > On this proposal specifically, I think the move is a logical step and costs aren't inflated. > > The deli is one of our most important IRL corner stones that I feel like we haven't put in enough effort to make the most out of it, other than providing funds. > > I'm down to work with Bones and the team on how we can integrate the Deli better and vice versa. > > The north star for me would be to make a strong case with the Deli so that others feel like they're "steeling" the brand, when they just rebrand to another Nouns Deli and don't tell us about it. +1 > The relocation moves Nouns Deli to an iconic location, giving Nouns a real shot at becoming an icon of Melbourne’s food culture. This is something Nouns Coffee LA has been searching for, armed with a war chest of funding for over a year, but with little to show for it. 🍔 +1 > Nouns Deli is one of the coolest projects Nouns has funded, and I'd love to see it continue. Our few IRL spaces are a tangible representation of what Nouns means and can achieve—an incarnation of the meme. After this relocation, I expect to see Nouns Deli operating for a long time and becoming a much more profitable business that can expand on its own. It doesn't mean I won't support future requests. I want to see them thrive and discover how far brick-and-mortar experiments funded by a DAO can go. Who knows, maybe you polish a new recipe to kickstart/expand franchises. Let them cook 🫡 > > +1 > > > Nouns Deli is an awesome asset for Nouns that I hope continues its mission for a long time. > > > > This is a small and resonable cost for moving locations. > > > > I can attest that the proposed new location is a really excellent venue (that I personally visit often with my family) with a more diverse crowd that are also more likely to be nouns-curious. The venue also creates more opportunity for Nouns Deli to interact, intersect, and collaborate with the local community, that I hope ND take advantage of. > > > > Given the 3 points above it makes good sense to support this imho. +1 > simple as, and their food & business reception has been overwhelmingly positive from everything I've seen. bones is always available to talk shop. hope to see the deli standing strong as a melbourne institution a decade from now > > +1 > > > i always talk about nouns deli when telling folks about nouns +1 > Nouns Deli should move to Prahran Market because it’s a bustling, iconic food hub in Melbourne, offering massive visibility and foot traffic—key for boosting brand recognition. For Nouns, it’s a big win as it taps into a prestigious, food-obsessed community, amplifying its cultural and commercial impact. Outsiders might miss this since Prahran’s status as a cornerstone of Australia’s gourmet scene isn’t globally obvious. +1 > The proposal to relocate Nouns Deli to Prahran Market offers a strategic chance to boost visibility and community engagement — Gotta say, it brings back memories of skating the Prahran Vert ramp nearby — that spot is legendary! It’s been a cornerstone of Australia’s skate scene since 1987. Serious history there. > > The financial plan makes a lot of sense too — repurposing equipment to cut costs while driving growth and brand recognition is smart and sustainable. I can definitely get behind that! The team seems super dialed in, and this move feels like a natural step to strengthen Nouns Deli’s presence and create a positive impact on the community. Gonna have to book my ticket to Australia to skate and check this out firsthand — let’s go! +1 > i always talk about nouns deli when telling folks about nouns +1 > These guys have been absolutely crushing it with the nouns deli vibes. This upgrade in location and foot traffic is epic and I think an even more suitable spot. > Big support. > ⌐◧-◧
