i'm pretty convinced that relying on large proposals as our grant-giving mechanism is fundamentally flawed. too much effort required from voters, can only pay a small # of builders, lots of back scratching/collusion, not enough accountability, people take votes personally, the list goes on.
maybe ai can manage everyone's preferences as a delegate, but the experience as a builder would still be subpar. my hunch is trying to bandaid it with improvements won't change the core problem of exchanging very high effort from voters for medium signal funding.
will do some more thinking today, but gut says skeuomorphic political mechanisms are not a good path. proposed solutions seem to add more complexity to an already confusing product for builders
