My first thought when reading this prop was "what if the book isn't good?"
Then I read the sample chapters and said, "okay, this is pretty good so far!"
Still, I was skeptical. Why this story? Why this author?
After sitting with it for a bit, I realized none of those questions mattered. We are funding a complete book, in the public domain, telling a Nounish story, for children who might (big might) now grow up loving Nouns. That's Nounish af.
Plus, the ask is reasonable, and I appreciate the work already put into making this project great.
