> Extremely supportive of this prop and the concept of a Nouns musical in general.
>
> Theater and musicals have proven to be powerful vehicles for storytelling that can reach diverse audiences and create lasting cultural impact, and (to my knowledge) this would make Nouns one of the first onchain projects to venture into traditional theater.
>
> I also appreciate that the story (at this point in the process) Incorporates Nouns imagery and concepts while telling a universal story, and I love that it utilizes the concept of daily Nouns in a pretty unique and artful way.
>
> This project represents exactly the kind of ambitious, creative initiative that Nouns should be supporting.
>
> Excited by the possibility of introducing Nouns to entirely new audiences through a traditional art form.

> Cool!
> Nouns should have a musical.
> Best of luck.

> What's making me leaning towards voting FOR is that they're doing a solid job on "building in public" and documenting their journey. And, they have a track record in the fields of what they want to do and promise.

> Chances are good that we'll get 2 outputs from this team:
> 1) a creator / artist focused fan community
> 2) a musical
>
> Worst case: we get a musical.
> Best case: we get a community of ⌐◨-◨ musical fans and a musical.
>
> Noteworthy: they both made an effort to get to know the community and immerse themselves in all happenings in LA this year.

> first, let me just say that i've had the pleasure of watching max and jeff work on this from inception, and i think they are talented, experienced, hard working, unusually humble and well meaning for this industry (hollywood && crypto), and i genuinely believe they can pull this off.
>
> second, i don't quite get the obsession with the proposal structure. staged financing is the norm in creative pursuits and there's no reason we shouldn't embrace it within nouns.
>
> there are two big reasons that staged financing is valuable imo: 1. it lets the dao make initial bets at a smaller scale which translates into being able to fund crazier people and ideas and take bigger risks, and 2. unfinished creative projects can still add significant value to the ecosystem (especially in a CC0 context).
>
> the downside here is easily avoided if we just avoid the sunk-cost fallacy. we try some things, if they are going well we keep funding them, if they are not, we don't, and if we're lucky, someone gets inspired to pick up the thread at a later date.
>
> anyway, i would love to see the conversation more focused on max and jeff and what they're attempting creatively. make sure you listen to their prototype song and imagine where this can go when fully realized!
