# PTBR-23: Pooltime # PTBR-23: Pooltime **Start date**: Jan 1st, 2025 **Est. Timeline**: 6 months **Budget**: $100,000 Pooltime is a team of dedicated long-time contributors who have been meaningfully involved in all layers of the PoolTogether universe. We focus on growing the PoolTogether ecosystem through community management, a strong presence on social media, and the development and maintenance of apps and tools. Our team consists of four contributors: * [@tjark](https://gov.pooltogether.com/u/tjark) * [@underthesea](https://gov.pooltogether.com/u/underthesea) * [@Lonser](https://gov.pooltogether.com/u/lonser) * [@shivansh](https://gov.pooltogether.com/u/shivansh) This budget request seeks a six-month budget extension to maintain our community coordination and infrastructure work. ## Scope of Work ### Motivation We have an obsession with the vision of onchain prize savings. PoolTogether is one of the very few protocols on the brink of proving true positive-sum financial applications are possible. With the foundation that this community has laid out in 2024, PoolTogether is ready for significant growth, while trying some things no one has done before. We 5x’d the total value locked during the past six months and the protocol gets only stronger the more it grows. We are motivated to continue supporting the protocol with our years of knowledge and passion for PoolTogether. ### Goal The PoolTogether community knows it all: the good and the bad. We navigated through a rough patch in PoolTogether history together, and finally, the hard work started paying out. With $400,000 in prizes with $20 million deposited, this machine is getting hard to stop. Our goal is to keep this thing fun and excite others to join us in achieving the PoolTogether endgame. A million dollars in prizes and mass adoption in 2025. ## Deliverables ### Community Building Our bet is on community building as a driver of growth. We act as a bridge between the protocol, brand, community, builders, and lurkers. This community needs care and safe spaces to get together and align. We are dedicated to responsibly maintaining, nurturing, and safekeeping our community spaces, providing a secure and inclusive environment for anyone who wants to engage with the PoolTogether ecosystem. Our tasks involve: * Maintain spaces for the community: Ensure the upkeep and security of community spaces across various platforms to allow people to get together. * Host weekly Community Calls: Organize and facilitate weekly calls to engage community members and discuss protocol updates. * Sustain a level playing field: Enforce the community code of conduct to maintain fairness and inclusivity in our community spaces. * Manage delegation budget: Administer a $100,000 budget to support growth and community initiatives. * Distribute Contributor Fund: We have bootstrapped the [contributor fund](https://debank.com/profile/0x7be92a3ff9e0c9a2fa2144c1a34e9f65b821978a) with $20,000. In Q1 we are launching a series of contests to get the distribution going and provide incentives to get involved. ### Social Media Management We lead PoolTogether’s social media efforts across various platforms, keeping the community informed and allowing everyone to follow along. We’re constantly monitoring any mentions of PoolTogether and related keywords to directly engage with users and fans. Our work ensures that the PoolTogether legacy remains intact and the protocol continues to be loved. * Amplify protocol updates and collaborations: Share updates, collaboration news, and success stories to keep the community informed and excited. * Interact with users: Engage with user-generated content, cross-post inspiring stories, and highlight key community members and integrators to deepen relationships and create superfans. * Announce major enhancements: Celebrate winners and announce new features and protocol improvements to increase excitement and drive growth. * Share Interesting stats: Provide regular updates on key metrics, such as prize distributions and participation statistics to keep users informed. * Remind about opportunities: Keep the community up to date about current opportunities, such as reward programs and upcoming campaigns. If you need help with a proposal, just get in touch with us. * Copyread RFCs for PTIPs and PTBRs: Provide editorial support for requests for comments and proposals. * Assist in Bringing Proposals Onchain: Help move proposals through the necessary stages to be implemented onchain. * Maintain Bridge Liquidity: Work together with Across to ensure bridge liquidity for POOL remains at healthy utilization levels, and manage new POOL deployments if necessary. ## Budget * $80k from Treasury (15,954.84 przUSDC + 36,605.31 USDC + 27,439.83 DAI) * 35.52k stMATIC and 0.66865 WETH from Exec Team (~$21k) Should this proposal pass, it would fund PoolTime with $80k USDC from the treasury and ~$21k in value would be sent from the Executive Team Polygon Safe. With a total budget of $100k for 6 months the exact duration is to be pro-rated by the value of the Executive Team funding at the time of liquidation. For instance at a current valuation of $21k that would be a $1k surplus giving the team 1/100 months of additional funding.
