PoolTogether is one of the very few protocols on the brink of proving true positive-sum financial applications are possible. With the foundation that this community has laid out in 2024, PoolTogether is ready for significant growth, while trying some things no one has done before. We 5x’d the total value locked during the past six months and the protocol gets only stronger the more it grows. We are motivated to continue supporting the protocol with our years of knowledge and passion for PoolTogether. ### Goal The PoolTogether community knows it all: the good and the bad. We navigated through a rough patch in PoolTogether history together, and finally, the hard work started paying out. With $400,000 in prizes with $20 million deposited, this machine is getting hard to stop. Our goal is to keep this thing fun and excite others to join us in achieving the PoolTogether endgame. A million dollars in prizes and mass adoption in 2025. ## Deliverables ### Community Building Our bet is on community building as a driver of growth. We act as a bridge between the protocol, brand, community, builders, and lurkers. This community needs care and safe spaces to get together and align. In Q1 we are launching a series of contests to get the distribution going and provide incentives to get involved. ### Social Media Management We lead PoolTogether’s social media efforts across various platforms, keeping the community informed and allowing everyone to follow along. We’re constantly monitoring any mentions of PoolTogether and related keywords to directly engage with users and fans. With a total budget of $100k for 6 months the exact duration is to be pro-rated by the value of the Executive Team funding at the time of liquidation. For instance at a current valuation of $21k that would be a $1k surplus giving the team 1/100 months of additional funding.
# PTIP-93: Migrate V3 and V4 Treasury into Mainnet V5 # Summary With the Launch of V5 on Mainnet the protocol now has the ability to migrate our Treasury that is still in V3 and V4 into the new Mainnet deployment. # Motivation The Treasury still holds over 500k in funds that can earn yield and generate prizes. Currently the funds are not earning any yield or are earning it for the older versions. Depositing those funds into the V5 Mainnet deployment allows us to bootsstrap it and provides indirect incentives without spending any new funds directly. # Details The Treasury funds can be seen here: [https://info.pooltogether.com](https://info.pooltogether.com) We would mainly be moving the 91.4 SPETHWIN, the 116k USDC and the 108k PTaUSDC.
# PTIP-91: Across Liquidity # PTIP-91 ## Simple Summary The liquidity on Across is currently quite low and that makes bridging even medium sized amounts for users impossible and/or means long bridging times. With the introduction of przPOOL Vaults and PT becoming more and more MultiChain being able to bridge POOL tokens easily between chains has become an important part of the protocol. This proposal aims to solve the low liquidity problem on Across by putting more funds into the Across POOL LP on Mainnet and the Across Relayer maintained by the Across Team. ## Abstract This proposal will increase the current protocol owned liquidity on Across by 75k from 75k to 150k. Furthermore we will send 25k POOL to the Relayer maintained by Across to increase our Relayer amount from 25k to 50k. ## Motivation This proposal aims to solve the low liquidity problem on Across by putting more funds into the Across POOL LP on Mainnet and the Across Relayer maintained by the Across Team. Currently the protocol has 75k POOL in the LP and 25k in the Relayer. In Theory anyone can provide liquidity for the LP but most funds are protocol owned right now. The protocol earns fees by providing liquidity and the funds can stay in the treasury after a team has executed the needed transactions. The total POOL staked on Across is currently 104k, utilization is at 98% and APY at 5.5%. The Across Relayer is needed to facilitate fast transactions and is currently maintained by the Across Team. Funds for the Relayer would be in their custody. The Across Team has been a very experienced and trusted partner in the past and has managed to solve any questions and problems efficiently and fast. Furthermore they are providing the bridge service completely free of charge. ## Specification * Transfer 25k to Across Relayer eth: 0x428AB2BA90Eba0a4Be7aF34C9Ac451ab061AC010 * Approve 75k POOL Spending for Across HubPool: `0xc186fA914353c44b2E33eBE05f21846F1048bEda` * Provide 75k liquidity on Across HubPool: `0xc186fA914353c44b2E33eBE05f21846F1048bEda` ## Status Live: On chain for voting!
There is some good stuff in the PTBR, but voting no as a signal after the whale vote because I think hammering it through with the whale account is not the way to go, would have probably voted abstain otherwise.
# PTBR-9: Grants Team Q4 2023 The grants team serves as a community-led program to fund ideas submitted by both PoolTogether community members as well as third-party applicants, with a focus on empowering a wider network of developers and contributors and increase adoption of the PoolTogether protocol. There are many great ideas for improving the protocol and grants plays a key role in evaluating and equipping those contributors with resources needed to go from idea to funded development.
