Memo 0x74b5cab7…3ff923 on Ethereum

I do not support pausing auctions as a solution to concentrated accumulation even though this is a real problem. Auctions are a core mechanism of the DAO’s growth and participation model. Halting them does not solve governance risk, it only freezes activity and with no clear security measures nor stated timeline for how long the pause would last for it doesn’t sit well as a feasible solution. there are concerns across the protocol about: - Sybil attack - Treasury draining - Power concentration Then the solution should be a structural reform, not auction interruption. I believe we should instead focus on: - Defining what constitutes a Sybil attack within this DAO and ways to mitigate it - Establish disclosure thresholds for significant voting control. - Implementing treasury safeguards (execution delays). - Exploring anti-concentration mechanisms that don’t halt auctions. let’s define the standards that apply to everyone
