# Nouns Milestone Payments
# TLDR
I have a smart contract I have been testing for some weeks now in Sepolia for milestone payments. It has taken this long since I am doing legit times (waiting three days etc before cancelling).
# Summary
I have a working POC for milestone payments for Nouns and all subdaos. Ever since [Prop 831](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/831), I've wanted milestone based payments. Upfront payments are great for CapEx expenditures and streams are great for linear based/time based expenditures. The only one missing was milestone payments to complete our arsenal. For now it is just the smart contracts since the frond ends have to be changed to support this new contract. I'll create a video how to use it via Custom Tx but hoping to get some frontends onboard to adding this as a choice.
