I usually resist from diagnosing situations or things as 'problems', and I'm not going to change that stance now.
So, thebeginningisnigh, I appreciate your sense of principles, and I'm very well aware of things, as I have stated multiple times in the past:

I do not condone or condemn anything nor am I going to tell you what to do. I try to reserve most of that energy for the contemplation of what I do, my own actions. All I can say is usually these things take care of themselves, and I don't want to miss the woods for the trees.
