GM Nouns!
I want to start by expressing my deep appreciation for the engagement and support from the community regarding the NOUNS CAN DREAM proposal. Your thoughtful feedback and votes have been invaluable in shaping this initiative, and I’m grateful for the collective effort to bring this vision to life.
It’s clear that many of you see the unique opportunity this proposal presents to expand the Nouns brand into the global skate culture. There’s strong support for the potential long-term impact of transforming Dreamland into a Nounish cultural landmark.
However, there were also important concerns raised at 2 Nouncil calls I participated in regarding the budget and the necessity of ensuring that this event delivers not just immediate value but also lasting benefits for our community. I took this feedback to heart and worked diligently to revise the proposal to better address these points. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the final edits I made did not get saved, and the earlier version went on-chain.
Despite this, I believe the current proposal still holds significant value. The event at Dreamland will serve as a powerful vehicle to introduce Nouns to new audiences and deepen our community’s cultural impact. I’m confident that this initiative will foster long-term engagement and growth for the Nouns ecosystem.
I’m am ready to move forward with this proposal if the community approves, and I’m ready to make NOUNS CAN DREAM a landmark event that truly embodies the spirit of our community.
