Memo 0x8e5dda9f…867377 on Ethereum

Today is the 8th of March. On this day 88 years ago, Hachikō departed yet remained eternally in the heart of a nation. We celebrate his loyalty and revere his example today and live by it on all others. At Shibuya Station in Tokyo, dog lovers will attend to acknowledge his legacy and share in their love of man's most dependable companion. When he left that station one final time, it was most assuredly with the intention to return the following day would his ailing body have allowed it. Ask yourself in earnest how committed you believe you're capable of being? How much could you endure for those you love or in pursuit of a noble purpose? Most would say they could weather the storm. No one knows until they actually face it. Take inspiration from those who have and harden your resolve should you find yourself in a tempest. They come for us all eventually. Many have shown faith by placing HACHI in the contract, and their loyalty is being rewarded. There's room yet to spread the message however. If we are truly intent on creating a decentralized organic community, we need people to step forth of their own volition. We can have decentralized code, tokenomics, and leadership but without inspired and driven community members willing to carry the cause forward, our decentralization is confined to mathematics. We have to go beyond this. We must work to instil an emotional, even spiritual transcendence to Hachi's example so that it may truly propagate and reignite the movement it started 88 years ago.
