# [WIP]Nouns Small Grants Program
I still believe in the general direction we worked on with [Octant:](https://www.nouns.game/candidates/0x1e90474d2e83e7b7dd45553156beb316845e66a4-nouns-%C3%97-octant-%E2%80%94-co%E2%80%91funding-builders-sustainably)
**Stake eth, preserve principal, spend yield to fund public goods on a regular basis.**
We're currently staking a large amount of ETH with Lido and Mantle.
I've spent 8+ months as an extra curriculum building the relationships, connecting the right people that started to prepare the tech stack and shaped and entire GTM marketing plan.
Regardless of [Octant reconsidering their offering](https://www.nouns.game/candidates/0x1e90474d2e83e7b7dd45553156beb316845e66a4-nouns-%C3%97-octant-%E2%80%94-co%E2%80%91funding-builders-sustainably) to match Nouns staking in Octant vaults, I still believe that we should continue the work to unlock yield spending for Nouns by getting the infrastructure in place for as permissionless and trustless yield harvesting and spending as possible.
